*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

It isn't all their fault and Nvidia has screwed up this release good style. Maybe some mitigation due to COVID, but they should have been realistic about what they could deliver.

But they should have only taken orders for the cards they were expecting to receive. The fact they are still taking orders without any details on the situation to inform people is a bit shocking.

I understand stock shortage and difficulties with COVID. There are ways to go about it, though. To me it looks like OC took a gamble on our behalf and it is not paying off.

That can't be true is zotac are still making them. Oh well if I don't have mine in November then il be going to team red. And certainly not through ocuk
Its likely the case with all cards that have an OC varient. They bin their cards and most of the chips so far are good. I suspect all AIB will use the same chips in both cards later down the line but right now people will pay the extra for an OC varient so thats what most AIBs are putting their effort into.
The odd non OC cards are likely to be the ones that aren't quite as good so i'm not sure i'd actually want a none OC version at this point in time ;)

I have issue with ocuk in that they take my card off preorder and give us no reasoning. And just leave is in a queue with no news why, and no future outlook. Poor poor poor

If they haven't been shipped by now then they aren't coming! Shouldn't take more than a week for a freight forwarder to get them out of the warehouse and onto a flight, and it was Gibbo sho said that one. The last promise was late last week early this, and on Monday they were still in HK, so if they haven't shipped by now chances are there's an issue and they aren't coming at all.

Do you even know how to read?

3080 X2 is 20pc
3090 is 10pc

With our forwarders and should be with customs end of this week, if it clears fast will be with us next week. The rest of the 3080 X3/X4 should be collected late next week from HK.

So if on 20th he said that 20 X2 and 3090 X3 will be arriving on that week(19-23 oct), and next week(26-30 oct) the 3080X/X4 should be collected from HK, and this week on Monday or Tuesday he said that they are still in HK (again during the 26-30th of october), how in the world you know they are not coming and it's a certainty? You spread this misinformation again and again . Please check your facts before commenting on what you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Inno3d customers should wait for next week info. Most likely we will get our cards between 9th and 13th if something completely awful doesn't happen. In this moment we know they are still in HK but should be shipped this week to Uk.

It's just like ASUS with their OC cards Zotac are doing the exact same thing. Really let down by this. I'll be back of the Zotac OC queue.

This launch gets worse each week. If Gibbon told us this before I would have made the queue jump.

If this is what being cucked feels like I don't want anything to do with it.
zotac are managing to supply a competitor quite well on the OC card front. they seem to have batches almost weekly. My friend got one a couple of weeks back. Hes getting an aorus master from the same competitor where a few of us scored at the weekend so will be selling his zotac oc (thats 2 different cards hes had from the same competitor in 2 weeks). It makes you wonder why people are still in a queue.

I'm sure most people who aren't brand fussy would be much better cancelling and trying their luck elsewhere. Sitting in a queue going nowhere is more stressfull than you think. I didn't think i was bothered but since i cancelled ive slept so much better. Very strange and all over a GPU lmfao! :)

so going on this, does that mean the EVGA black isn't coming back into stock either?

If OCUK have stopped taking pre-orders that means they aren't getting any expected stock for a VERY LONG time. This is what Gibbon told us in his update about pre-orders and the only reason they would stop taking them is if the stock isn't expected at all.

So your telling me my zotac card is not expected at all???
@Gibbo what do you have to say about this please?

I'm lead to believe it's beyond Asus control. The GPU they are receiving from Nvidia are binned higher than non o.c spec. If they continued producing these non o.c GPU with higher binned chips it's a slap in the face for those that did pay more.
All of the heat the AIB and retailers have been getting is all Nvidia issue. They rushed it out the door to get the drop on Amd and now we are starting to see why. I was gonna drop my order but now I will wait it out and see the difference between the non o.c cards already shipped and what will eventually ship.
No, they aren't binned at all by Nvidia and they can't be until it's a finished card when Asus are testing them they are overclocking nicely so only the ones which fail become non OC cards (the inferior silicon)......................................

Being 290ish in the que for msi gaming x i am expecting delivery about the same time as AMD release their new 6800xt, I assume I can TRY to order one of these from OC and if successful cancel my 3080. Just playing the waiting game sucks and now need a graphics card to keep me sane. (been without a card since start of september)

Just got a stock alert on Stock informer that 3080's are available to pre-order? ha
OC do that to make it look like they have movement and bump competitors down the recent stock update list. Its pretty shady tbh when nothings actually changed.

Its the 4th time i've noticed them do it after a certain competitor has had multiple 3080 & 3090s come and go legitimately :(
