No lucky, no one had pre ordered the 3090 Tuf OC. the none OC is a different story
that price is ridicuious.Zotac 3090 is now in stock and available to order
LOL you cheeky old devil. Good one, made my day xDOnly if your a lady
Its not to bad tbh , im not using any support bracket but it is sitting pretty much horizontal... will keep an eye on it to see if it starts to sag![]()
not make much difference to fps, for everday use there is no problem with the caps used. Both Inno and Zotac use POS caps and these are the most unstable, Der8auer has an article where he changes them and gets another 30mhz stable I dont think they are the best 3090 designs on the market.
OCUK charging scalper prices. Shameless.
If you have a pre-order, hold on to it. The 6900XT figs look good but that was on Zen 3 and Rage mode, that alone added a good bit to the figs if what AMD say is true, plus like Nvidia, it was games picked out by AMD.
The AMD ray tracing is speculated to be just over an RTX3070 and the DLSS is totally unknown quality-wise.
If you are on with Zen 2/3 and not bothered about RT in games, the AMD cards look great, but if you like visuals and can live with dropping FPS for extra wow, the RTX is still the win on that alone, plus if you run Intel, you will not get what they showed.
I have a funny feeling that these AMD cards are going to be like Nvidia's first lot of RTX cards. New tech, new drivers, new software to fine-tune and some stuff we don't even know how well it will turn out.
5 year warranty with zotac which is a plus but i agree OCUK are taking the p**s with that price.I looked at the zotac if only to end the wait for a new card but at a 1700 price no chance price drop in a few weeks anyway when AMD cards drop
only last week the zotac was £1589 on OCUK.Thats shocking and sad but not the only ones doing it.,
Before the shortages both the Zotac and Inno had a MSRP of £1399 so currently there is a £300 premium for them being in short supply.
Thats worse than the normal Asus tax!
Nowhere is selling any AIB anywhere near their MSRP. Even the Asus Strix 3090OC was only meant to be £1599. I know cause i currently have an preorder with another retailer at that price.
I baulked at paying £1599 at the time for the strix. No way would I pay £1700 for a zotac or Inno3d!
only last week the zotac was £1589 on OCUK.
Yup - way to make a quick buck whilst supply chains are short, but, its only worth what people are willing to pay for it, so they might not sell and just sit there.
It's sad seeing this happen.
THE GERMANS lmaoWonder who sets the prices for ocuk?
