*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Yesterday I had an MSI Ventus 3090 and a gaming Trio X 3090 in my basket for next day delivery ( not here, obviously) but decided they are not worth the extra money over the 3080 ( for my use ) so released both. Looking at the update over on the 3080 thread I think I probably should have just ignored the extra cost else I’ll still be on the forum this time next year
 
So i just did get my email i was 32 for last week and now i am 33 ... I will still wait and i am sure i did buy something last time from overclockers how can i go from 32 to 33? Wtf ... Msi 3090 gaming trio x... Explain to me i dont get it
 
The issue with the current price of the Zotac 3090 is likely not the fault of OCUK. The landed cost is probably very high right now with the manufacturers using air freight instead of cheaper (albeit slower) options.
Retailers aren't going to charge a customer less than what they paid for them.

This is mostly the reason for the price increases on other cards too, not just at OCUK either.
 
@Gibbo Since the Legions promo is finished I see other reatilers have started listing 3090 cards from today with Nvidias new promotion Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War + GeForce NOW 1-year Membership.

Do we in the pre order queue for a 3090 now get those codes please? Or would we have to cancel and go to the back of the queue in order to get them?

Airfreight ? Seriously ? So you’re saying that £150 per card is airfreight.... right... :rolleyes:

Airfright doesnt cost £300 per card. I appreciate that costs will have increased a bit compare to seafright but £10 per card would be what we would be looking at.

Some retailers are still selling MSI Gaming 3090 for £1589 and Ventus for £1529 as and when they come into stock so I dont buy that.

so how come another retailer i know of is selling at under £1600 an with game code to?

Thats a good point, personally given the choice would rather have watchdogs, but feel we should be entitled to one or the other regardless
 
Maybe i gone from 32 to 33 coz some of gibbos friends want get msi 3090 and gibbo did give him 1st place in queue and now we all moved 1 position up :D i am tryin to understand if there are no deliveries no shipments how can i go from 32 to 33 :D

Thats a load of tosh, air freight my rear end, thats scalping the price for stock in store.

You’d think we’d get first priority on this. If not we’re literally losing out because all the 3080s got all the allocation on the Watch Dogs promo and then anyone that orders now get the new promo

yup, game codes should have gone out with the deilveries only, not on basis of who ordered first only to sit in a queue for 4 months. Its horse**it, give us a game or a rebate for sitting here with nothing to show. Overclockers should be going straight to Nvidia/AIBs to make good on game promise or give us a £50 rebate.
