Based on how surprised he seemed to be about how people interpreted his comments about ASUS and OC vs non-OC productions I suspect he doesn't mean to be as vague as he comes across, but I agree, he really needs to spend an extra minute or two proofreading his posts and thinking about how they might be misinterpreted. Whether it is "most" gigabyte SKUs, or "most" AIBs, why not specify? All that the vagueness does is create more complaints later.

Yeah to be fair, I read that at work and vaguely quoted his post as across 'brands', so that's on me. But that 2nd line threw me. I want my card so bad my brain is telling me different things

I think all the produced Eagles got recalled for factory rework of the power connectors. Only thing that makes any sense at this point.

Sorry if I am off topic, but I ordered Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Eagle yesterday at 1:23pm and just had an email saying I am 21st in the queue, and based on the stock update in the other thread where it said an "ok" amount of gigabyte 3070's was expected end of next week, I guess I might get this in about a week. I either got in early enough to have a lowish queue number or the demand against supply problems aren't as great as for the 3080's

I honestly envy the people who got their cards off that competitor, purely because of that daily information they get. You know it'll come and be easy to see in an organised manner. Gibbson MIGHT update, might not. It's all a gamble. Theres def been a few shipments and deliveries than havnt been mentioned in that thread.

Thanks, yeah a 3rd screen can be handy at times but also is a bit of a luxury!

The business I work for ships loads of tech stuff from HK and China too, and my weekly call with our logistics team tallies with what's been said by OCUK staff. Shipments are sporadic and disorganised, loads of stuff that a year ago would've shipped by air is being stuck on a boat instead because of limited cargo hood space, and this is causing limited cargo space in ships as well, creating a backlog stretching to after Christmas. So something that would normally arrive in a day is arriving in a couple of weeks and then sitting in a port until freight handlers can get the shipment split and distributed. Same as what Gibbo said, our freight slots are now getting tighter because of Christmas, and Brexit is about to make the ports a complete mess on top of all that.

I have a freshly-built PC with no graphics card, so I decided to cancel my 3080 order and grab a bargain 1660 Super so I can at least play enough games to keep me entertained until the pre-order backlog has cleared and I can get a 3080 at a sensible price, which will probably be Easter at this rate.

75-100 Trios ("large") shipped from the factory on the 23rd, earliest possible arrival was end of this week, but looks like they haven't gotten here yet. Hopefully early next week.
Another 10-30 ("small") are suposed to ship from the factory tomorrow.

An update on queue position is sent after each delivery of that particular SKU.
We shall also send an email every Friday for all SKU queue positions to keep customers informed of their position.

Where's my promised TUF OC queue update? I want to find out how many cancelled yesterday
