Always good to come in under budget, but £600 excluding the monitor opens up the option of a Ryzen 5 3600 for a bit more longevity to the system.

If you're buying everything specifically from OCUK this would be an idea.
I'd recommend adding another SSD down the line when funds allow for it.
AMD Option:

If you don't plan on ever upgrading the Intel build will be superior, if you think you might want to upgrade your CPU in a couple of years time you'll be better off with the AMD build.

Both great suggestions, thanks!
Is there a big difference between the 1650 super and the 1660 super?
I'm wondering if the AMD would be better then because as he grows up what if he wants to play other games he can easily upgrade
Let's clarify this upgrade path thing.
Intel you still will be able to upgrade from the 10400f to a 8 core or even 10 core cpu.
AMD will offer you a wider range of cpu choice.
I think with him being 11 his taste in gaming is only going to change as he gets older and more games come out so I think the AMD route would be more budget friendly since he has a sibling so the cost has to be spread equally etc
Looking at the 1660 supers, the cheapest ones seem to be the Palit, EVGA and ASUS and they all have 1 fan. Would you guys recommend those? Are they no different or is it best to stick with the 2 fan ones?
Is the RX 580/590 better than the 1660 super? Only because I've managed to get everything for £613 I think it is at the moment, so I'll just wait for prices to fluctuate etc and it should be fine?
They're a little slower, which is why I stated to only consider them if you can get them within a certain price range.
The Konlink Observatory would be fine, although for a similar style and price I'd go for this:

I expect you'll enjoy better build quality with the Lian Li and it's very well reviewed:
