These box office games annoy me. Even if I wasn't that interested in the game, I used to have it on as background noise and dip in and out occasionally. Suppose we've been 'spoilt' over lockdown with the free games.

Roll on United on Sunday. What team will turn up? :)

Leeds vs. Leicester should be a good watch too. Expect plenty of goals there.

Delighted Antonio's out for the Hammers, didn't fancy Gomez and a makeshift CB up against him. Who plays is anyone's guess, talk of Henderson and Gini dropping back as well as Rhys Williams and Phillips filling in. I'd prefer to keep Henderson in midfield, need his athleticism in the middle.

Not surprised Matip and Keita are still out though, we can't count on either and both need dumping in the summer.

Bit worried Thiago's injury is more serious than originally reported, need him back for the Atalanta and City games.

Thiago's been training all this week, they're just not taking any chances with him. As for Keita, I've got a feeling he's got covid. Klopp was asked what his injury was today and avoided the question and there's been no word from the club on what's kept him out.

Im sure he got it on international duty. Have they been told by the FA not to reveal if they have it or not? Why not just say it.

Answering your last question, the same reason why doctors won't just share your medical information with the world. It was said around the time of Thiago testing positive that the club would not reveal the names of anybody that tested positive unless the player requests they do. I'm pretty sure that's the same for every club - we hear that x number of players/staff have tested positive each week but we only ever hear one or two names. I strongly suspect Trent had it in pre-season but it was never confirmed. He was an unexplained absentee during our training camp and then just popped up at the start of the season.

As for the first part of your post. I'm not sure if it was officially announced but there were reports in Guinea that he had tested positive but there were then stories that it was a false negative. The fact that the club aren't saying anything on his supposed injury and that Klopp avoided the question today makes me think it's covid.

Nat Phillips alongside Gomez, bit harsh on Williams but I'm sure Klopp has his reasons.

Big game for Jones, thought he was shocking in the last game he played and deserved to be removed at HT just for the lack of work rate alone.

Still no Thiago, hopefully back midweek.

Well that was just a **** clearance attempt by Gomez.

Our defence since last season restart just isn't the same as what it was prior to when season stopped
