Grandad we are learning about all the millions of people that died in 2020 you lived through it what was it like, nobody died son everybody all around the world was just very angry that they didn't get their graphics cards Grandad i am talking about covid must have missed that one lad I was on overclockers forum for 18 months thought it was strange when the delivery man turned up with a face mask on I just thought he had gingivitis and didn't want to breath on me.
 
I have to say with all the rumours of a super 3080 early next year and may be hopper in late 2021 by the time the strix i ordered arrives it might best to cancel and wait ...
 
Look on the bright side, by the time we get these bloody cards our post counts And time on the forums will mean We can ask for the postage back... as we will qualify for the free shipping for loyal forum members lol.

Don’t be daft. They won’t do that. They will tell us we have to be here 90 days and order from them again to get free delivery. Not good for the people that will leave this ordeal with a very sour taste :D
 
I feel a tinge of disappointment this week, my queue position for my 3080 Strix OC went from 214 to 201. But I managed to get my daughter a 3070 for her Xmas present. She’s at uni at the moment so I’m testing it for her just to make sure it works ok in my rig. Aren’t I a nice Dad. (Don’t worry, I will be putting my ageing 1070ti back in soon.)

That’s when you start to wonder if you actually need the 3080 lol

Did you get a queue update email today? because I haven't received one
 
"Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080 a very small amount due end of this week."

Well either these didn't arrive or my queue update email was compiled before update because my queue position has remained the exact same as last week. *sigh*
I'm in position ten so wasn't expecting to be in this batch but I thought I'd at least move up the queue and probably be in the next one.
