I received my Palit RTX 3070 Gaming Pro non overclocked this morning and have to say I am well chuffed with it.

After installing the card I then installed the tools from the Palit website which prompted a firmware update. I also installed the Palit overclocking utility called Thunder Master which has an automate overclocking feature to have a fiddle around with.

First test I carried out was to run MSI Kombustor at stock settings to stress test the card, after 10 minutes the max temperature was just 64C and the fans were almost silent running at around 25-30%.

I then ran Timespy on stock settings and had a total benchmark score of 11631.

Now I'm not experienced in overclocking so just ran the automated overclocking utility in Thunder Master which suggested an overclock of +136Mhz on the GPU offset and +200Mhz on the Memory offset (I didn't touch the voltage). I then stress tested again in Kombuster followed by another Timespy benchmark test which came in at 11944.

My PC is an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (stock) with 16GB of ram.

Early days but I am very pleased so far. I know quite a few forum members have ordered this card so thought a bit of feedback might be appreciated.

Been testing my 3070. It is massively bandwidth starved. Put +1000 on the memory so that it runs at 16gbps and you'll get a good bump in performance.

Here is my stock vs OC comparison. OC is +100 on core, +1000 on memory and +9% power limit.

It is a few percent behind against my old overclocked 2080 Ti.

edit:

With Timespy Extreme the overclocked 3070 and overclocked 2080 Ti are identical. Interesting.

I have mine, same card. Ran some tests. 3dmark which is an old free version on my 1080 gave 7000 (not exact) and this one gave 14000 (not exact)
Then ran cod warzone and last night I was getting average 120fps and up to 170. This card is giving me average 170 up to 240 FPS (same gfx settings as last night, high on everything)

I also have a power meter and only a 550w psu.

When at max gaming my 1080 was using approx 240 watts maxing out my pc at 320 watts. This card when gaming at max tops out at 350 watts so the draw I estimate as approx 270.

Thanks for that advice. I've just run Timespy again with +1000Mhz on the memory and the same +136 on core and the Timespy benchmark has gone up to 12168. I can't see your 3070 results but I can see your 2080ti.

Edit: If I filter Timespy results down to 2080ti and Ryzen 5 3600 for comparison purposes my RTX 3070 score is 3.7% less than the average 2080ti score.

Hmm, I bought the card specifically from OC because it said it included black ops, I have the screenshot to say it has black ops, so I should get black ops :)
Agreed. Could you edit your previous post with a broken image? I take it you were trying to post your screenshot? Just upload it to something like imgur.com if it doesn't work.
