Yes a good board the msi tomahawk wifi is a good budget option, just check what features you need.
That's £150 more expensive than needed.
(pretty sure you can think other uses for that money)
Already Aorus Elite has overkill VRM.
And in fact better chipset cooler design with fan farther from heat of graphics card's and without marketing excrement constricting fan...

From that next step up would be MSI X570 Tomahawk with off the charts bat crazy overkill VRM and Wifi.

I hope there are other refresh x570 boards along shortly. I’m looking at the x570 itx but the USB and Ethernet has since been upgraded on the B550.
I’d like a second PCIe 4.0 m.2 slot while having the recent upgrades on the B550 version.

check out b550 Master! higher VRM. can support triple pcie 4.0 M.2 but GPU is cut down in half to support the last 2 M.2s.
also being shipped with free 500GB PCIe 4.0 m.2 , but not with ocuk yet
saves £100
Just looking at reviews of boards, going to go for Aorus Master to pair with the planned 5950x.
There will be some new X570 boards in the near future, these are not for 5000 series though. It's to add official thunderbolt support for some new models now AMD chipsets can be ratified. No dates for these yet but all the current X570 will support the new CPU's
Doubt it - think the aorus master has thunderbolt header on the board (going off my memory here) so official support for thunderbolt won't make too much of a functional difference I'd suspect.
