seriously though, that sucks.

if it makes you feel any better, a couple of weeks ago i picked up a £4500 guitar that i had been waiting weeks for. on the way home i also picked up a second hand amp that i thought was quite a bargain. driving home from that the amp tipped over in the car and smashed the guitar. Also turns out the amp doesn’t work properly. The guitar is at the guitar shop waiting to go back to the manufacturer to see if it can be fixed but that’s now not going to happen because of the lock down. The amp is at a different shop being looked at , so that’s £5000 down the swanny plus probably another £2,000 ish to get the guitar fixed, if it can be fixed.

why was it not in a hard case? I'm crying even thinking about this...

What guitar was it? Sounds like either something custom or a PRS at that price, or something vintage I guess?

What type of guitar? I feel for you bro, I love my guitar and that would break my heart if it were to happen to me.

I think online stores will be able to trade still. It's the walk in shops that will close. They want to reduce footfall. It's all ******** as far as I am concerned but there you go.

Though now don't think it will matter much anymore, depending on next week I will make the jump to red team, tho at this point there's going to be so much running to AMD I'll end up in the same situation.

Guess we will see.

Ouch! Beautiful guitar. I’ve got a PRS Custom 24 Floyd 10 top. Such beautiful guitars. Surprised it wasn’t in a hard case! Best guitar I’ve ever played. They do get bashed when you gig with them though, eventually. I hope you get it sorted.

Hope you can get it sorted, although with this lockdown stuff as you say it's going to be difficult.
 
Lockdown, at least I have a 3080 to get me through, o wait...... ha ha,

Pretty sure OCUK wont close, they just shut the shop to walking customers, and sell online, dont think they even opened the shop yet did they regardless?
We should still see deliveries going out

PRS have said 3-4 months ( they do excellent work ) but at the moment its stuck at Peach Guitars as the PRS rep isn’t allowed to visit. I’m going to pick it up on Tuesday and deliver it to PRS myself ( PRS are in Cambridge).

i guess i should stop now as this isn’t really relevant to this forum, just sharing some of the pain we’re all suffering
