The competitor got their order on Friday, late afternoon. I reckon that OCUK did too, but cba to get them shipped.

We'll see. Best not to have any expectations of OC. I don't expect the order of teens and the 50 to turn up next week. I expect anything between 0 and much less than expected, with a sudden surge of eagles appearing with scalpers.

Gosh - that's even worse than I'd hoped. OCUK really do seem to be the runt of the litter when it comes to getting stock.

true, must have been a real shock to Nvidia that people actually wanted to purchase their cards. If only they’d had some way of knowing the launch date and ramped-up before that.

Well I feel like a bit of an idiot to be honest, I just paid £1700 for a RTX 3090. (Won’t name which site due to getting banned, but it’s a site that allows you to pay over MSRP...)

I know it’s not really any justification but I live on my own and with the recent announcement of lockdown V2 and not being able to see my family for a good while I wanted to get something to see me though lockdown.

You don't need to justify it to anybody. You bought what you wanted. 3090s are easier to get atm so why not? lol

we've seen competitors get and send stock over and over whilst nothing from oc (at least nothing mentioned in the update thread)

At this point i wouldn't be surprised if oc getting crazy order queues has backfired and suppliers are limiting supply due to competitors not being so greedy. Doesn't help the guys here but if i saw what oc was doing and i had the power to stick it to them then i would defo be tempted. I would purposely supply others with more stock lol. Yes i know this isn't likely how it works but it seems to be the only way i can think that oc would appear to have less stock moving than others

I don’t blame you in the slightest, and if you had one on order from here you could always buy it and then move it on to refund the extra cash you paid for the card you bought, to balance the books so to speak.

My experience with DPD so far is that they have to take the photo of the parcel with the door open, thus implying that someone has accepted it.

Yeah this is the new rules with Covid, had them deliver something the other day and checked out what they do.

And the first thing was to take a picture of the parcel with the door open to show the person got the parcel.

Honestly love DPD as a delivery service always have a very good experiance with them, also somewhat nice you can upgrade your delivery slot if you ever want too. nice touch even if its a little pricy
