*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I ordered a 3080 MSI gaming X trio at 14:04pm on release day with a competitor, that's 4 minutes after launch. When we finally started getting queue number updates around 3 weeks ago I was 43rd in queue so that says they were selling gaming X trios every 11 seconds

I moved to queue position 22 a couple of weeks ago, I am still 22 but also have a date on my email which apparently means mine should have shipped Friday just gone. My point is that the shipment seems to have come in late, so I would assume the OCUK large shipment that was meant to be in late last week is likely late too, should know more tomorrow really, both shipments may have arrived late in the day on Saturday.

Fingers crossed for this!

Alright lads, looks like the stock situation is EVEN worse than first thought. Aorus just tweet that the very limited quanity due for this week isn't per supplier... it's for ALL suppliers. So instead of each supplier getting a very limited batch of cards, they're going to be fighting one another to get a hold of some cards from a very limited quantity.

Guessing how Giga is now MIA on this forum and the rate that Aorus twitter have been ignoring questions, it's safe to say, Aorus and Gigabyte have officially FAILED at demand. All their talk about ramping up production at the start of October is royal BS.

At best, we can expect to get these cards by late December by the rate OCUK and Gigabyte have been operating. Shambles.

Please stop touting this tosh. Have you actually read up on what the restrictions include?

My post was mainly satire about the fact OCUK will use the lockdown to say they're having delays because of it, instead of saying they have zero stock and are getting zero stock.

The reality of this lockdown is this- it isn't going to affect deliveries too much. If at all. Yes, it may cause some delays, but product has to move throughout the country and did so with the last lockdown too.

Yeah same, would love to get a FE, what I wanted on day one, and still do,
I think I may get my card some point on the next 2 weeks but who knows anymore lol. Fingers crossed for some deliveries tomorrow!

FE would be great, ichill x3 I have pre ordered here would be great, evga ftw ultra gaming I have back ordered with popular store (France version) would also be great.

Any RTX 3080 would be great, traded in vega 56 gpu for some funds towards new card and the long wait is tough. However, as others have said before me, will miss the hunt, don't know what will do when I actually have one until valhalla or cyberpunk!

This was my original mindset too but after snagging an Aorus Master elsewhere, I can't bring myself to rip the cooler off it for watercooling - just seems dumb to put like £150 worth of cooler in a box lol. I've got feelers out to trade it for a card I'd actually want but failing that a friend's buying it off me when I get my TUF (or another card that's more suitable to me. Honeslty I'm hoping to grab a TUF OC, some kind of MSI or a Founders elsewhere now that I know the tuf non-OC are generally worse bins, but I'll take my tuf if it ever ships)

Just dont get the MSI Ventus if you are using EK. They currently have no plans on making a block for it which is really sad. I was like 300th in queue when they emailed me back :(

You'd do that if that long queue was the shortest of all possible options. Which it probably is for most people.

If you're hoping to wait and get stock on shelves from other places then you're at the very best gambling that you'll see the product before someone else and get it, but you almost certainly wont, what tiny amount of stock that is shipping is being snapped up instantly. Most other stores also ahve their own preorder queues which need to clear before they will even offer cards on the store.

Most sensible people can also queue here for a card and then if they find one in stock elsewhere they can buy immediately and then cancel their OCUK order. I have little doubt in my mind that there's a whole bunch of people sitting in multiple queues to give themselves the best shot at getting their card early.

Yep that's pretty much my mentality right now, keep my preorder here and keep checking daily with distill for any new stock at competitor sites,

I'm still hopeful OCUK will come through and deliver but either way I've lost nothing as I can get a refund at any time.

Exactly. But also that the earlier you pre order here the sooner you'll be in the queue. If you join the queue in 1-2 months time it'll only take longer. People are confusing absolute time vs relative time, it's a long absolute time but relative to alternatives is a short time.

So if we haven't received a card by January how dose everyone think this brexit nonsense will play out as ports are rumored to have delays upto 20,000 Lorrys as my sister works in customs

it's possible that confirmed shipments will be honored as agreed in 2020, but new shipments in 2021 will be under tax legislations, so we will see.

How would lockdown not cause delays with delivery ? It's coming close to Xmas and most shops will be shut so a lot more online orders will happen. Deluded if you think different.
Stock and deliveries in nearly every section of retail has suffered the last lockdown and now we are having a second lockdown. If you are not sorting Xmas now you will be screwed.
I'm teetering on the brink of buying on eBay and leaving this mess behind me.

Where? I can’t find a tweet from Aorus U.K. that says this
