I am looking at a car that I am interested in. It is from a trader.

Do not drive until repaired (dangerous defects):
  • Nearside Rear Tyre has a bulge, caused by separation or partial failure of its structure 255x30x19 (5.2.3 (d) (ii))
Repair immediately (major defects):
  • Offside Rear Tyre has a cut in excess of the requirements deep enough to reach the ply or cords 255x30x19 (5.2.3 (d) (i))
Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
  • Nearside Front repaired
The tyres have been fixed, but I am more interested in the advisories. What does Nearside front repair mean in the advisories.

Missed the bottom bit.

No idea, but unless dirt cheap I'd be ignoring that. Or asking for a repair if it's some sort of exotica.

It went through the MOT without advisories after they fixed the tyres, I was just wondering that it can indicate a previous damage to the front of the car.
However it doesn't come up as Cat S or N on autotrader.
Car looks tidy, with low mileage for a reasonable price.

If I decide to buy it will do a full HPI check.

If you suspect it may have had damage previously you could run a vcheck on it. It’ll search salvage auctions to find if it’s been subject to auction after being written off.

Askmid showing uninsured so can’t see what it is.
Unless it’s something awfully special and an incredibly low price, walk away and find another, cleaner one.

I would imagine nearside front is talking about tyres, and if correct I would be ensuring that all three that have been mentioned have been replaced with decent new tyres (not part worn).
I'd be trying to get the third replaced as part of the sale too!

I would be amazed if "nearside front repaired" is referring to anything other than the tyre.
