RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

Ordered 5950x - 14:11 on OCUK, order status: Order received - not yet shipped, really disappointed with OCUK today... I'm waiting for my GPU to get my new PC built, I have all of the other parts besides GPU and CPU, I was hoping I could get CPU and use my old graphics card and now I have to wait another month... I heard some websites had 5950x in stock till 14:40 and people who bought it are getting it shipped tomorrow, but I trusted OCUK which looks like was a mistake...

Anyone have any idea what the queue system (if there is one) is looking like for these chips? I'm assuming OCUK have sold a multiple of what they had in stock, so presumably we will see a queue system like the 3080s?

Since my other thread has been locked (Not sure why) but just to give an update to everyone. I ordered 2x 5600x one for me and one for my partner from a competitor at 15:00ish (happy to share screenshots) both have been shipped and there was A LOT better communication with live chat option with status updates on the account from being ordered --> processed --> shipped. With next day delivery/local pickup at a reasonable price with some freebies!

On OCUK ordered one just in case at 14 ish after site crashing and what not with fast pa***l checkout and still nothing. I have cancelled my order from OCUK so if there is a queue people can have a chance instead of me scalping it.

Having said that I am really disappointed how a so called biggest retailer in the UK charges extortionate shipping fees and gouch prices and yet still fail to deliver.

The 3080 was a disaster for everyone fair enough but what happened to VERY LARGE STOCK for zen3? as well as wrong advertised timings for the launch.
I think it was only because of pressure from customers and forums that they bothered to make a queue system otherwise they wouldn't have even bothered. This retailer Overclockers/Overcharges looks like it doesn't care for customers at all and certainly revisit their business practices.

I have kept my post factual and I hope someone in OCUK takes this criticism constructively rather than locking threads and banning people!

So....my 5900X order , which went in at 2:39pm.....just shipped?? I thought I'd be waiting weeks, but nope, literally just got a tracking number with DPD. Very very happy :-)

Nice!
Kinda wish I hadn't given up on ocuk so quickly. Got to about 2:02 and I abandoned ship cos the site was lagging too much :D

I've used both the DRP4 and the Mugen 5, the DRP4 will perform better, look better but it takes up loads of room and is a bit trickier to fit

The Mugen 5 takes up less space, is just as quiet if not quieter than the DRP4 and has the best install I've ever used but the performance was disappointing and in my opinion it's ugly

The DRP4 is a different league to the cooler master 212 whoever told you that doesn't sound particularly knowledgeable

Cheers once again! I think i'll go for the DRP4 - is there a particular case you think might fit this unit easier?

You know what really grinds my gears, the whole ‘let’s hold back X amount of stock and bundle them with crap that nobody really needs/wants’, there’s plenty of CPU’s in stock but you have to buy the stock that nobody is interested in.

Why didn't I think of this! I just did some quick googling and found my motherboard with a 5900x! Wahooo, cancelling my pre-order! Thank goodness for that. I'll get the rest of the parts from OCUK though.

edit: Thankyou for this!

If you need a CPU and Mobo there is a certain site that still to this point has stock available at really good prices.... they are ###-IT based in Stoke-on-Trent, just grabbed myself a bundle for £729.99
Dam they've got some stonking deals tbh. £660 for a 5900x and board in stock.

yeah, i wanted the prime pro but there was 1 in stock with a 5900x and it sold out while i was doing my research on them, so went with the x570-f as don't need the -e features really.
I've already got a motherboard or I'd cancel my order and get one of those deals.

Yeah I can't be bothered getting into a mess with cancelled orders and selling excess equipment. I made my bed so I will sleep in it. Honestly I don't think they will take long to ship out but I'm not really too fussed if I wait 3 weeks either.
i got my 3080 after 6 weeks, hoping for sooner than that also ignore the typo in the quote, i meant i asked to cancel 5800x and they cancelled the 5900x.

I ordered it 14:11 and nothing.... Why am I so unlucky
Same for me, I got an order in even earlier at 14:09, although I chose saturday delivery incase they didn't have time to ship it out today. Hopefully that means they will hold one and send it tomorrow as believe they ship sat deliveries on a friday?

I went online at 2pm had to refresh about 20 times and then enter my payment details about 5 times until my order finally went through took about 20 minutes on OCUK

Received an email at 6pm to say my order has been shipped for the 5900X
