Just noticed all my PS4 games with free PS5 games are now showing up in my library on library.playstation.com under the PS5 filter

Just watched Dave2Ds latest video, seems the PS5 is 37db idle and 38db under load.

The series X is 37db idle and 39db under load.

For reference, the PS4 Pro is 45db idle and 54db under load.

You will get double scaling, one of these 2 depending on your monitor's support for 4k:

1. Internal game resolution (typically sub 4k) -> 4k (PS5) -> 1440p (monitor)
2. Internal game resolution (typically sub 4k) -> 1080p (PS5) -> 1440p (monitor)

2 will look worse than 1, but both will be noticeably blurry due to performing lossy scaling twice and PC monitors typically having very poor image scaling.

I have an LG 27GL83A also hopefully supports a 4K signal

Miles morales takes 4 seconds to load into the menu, then a further second to load into game from a save file. Impressive.

Same for Watch Dogs, noticed it yesterday. Did consider downloading it to my PS4 just so I can compare but I'd rather just experience it properly on the PS5.

Don't think Spiderman MM is a full priced game.

You're right. But I'd want the Ultimate Edition, as it includes Spider Man (PS4) Remastered.

The ray tracing does look amazing, especially for a launch game that's cross gen. I've played 60fps games before but I've never seen ray tracing so detailed will be the main one.

Shame about no 1440p, luckily my 3440x1440 UW will take a 3840x2160 60hx input and display perfectly.

Umming arring about a new monitor. Currently use a LG 27UK650 but can use them both for my PC. Not sure if I should go for a 120hz jobby.

I wonder what resolution MM could get to with RT on and 60fps together? I'd take that even if it was only 1080p. Shame they couldn't do both together.

@Quinnaay did you get one of the HDMI to optical adaptors? Asto just told me it will be new years before they have any in. Argh! Wish I'd kept my Pulse headset order in now, any other way of getting my astro a40 working on the PS5 when it comes?

Yep. And the load times are just insane, almost non existent.

It appears right now that none of the reviewers are allowed to move PS5 games to external storage drives. Might be by design or could be fixed in release day firmware. I am not worrying... yet.
