RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

So the CPU and Mobo bundle place just emailed thanking me for placing my preorder yesterday (at 14:18 despite trying since 14:00). I only ordered as the item was showing in stock and had a 5900x in a basket elsewhere at the time. Given the headaches people have had here on recent launches i put faith in elsewhere. Wasnt looking to jump in a queue this time around but seems inevitable now. Not having had a GPU for 3mths I'm hardly in a rush but a bit of transparency at the point of ordering wouldn't go amiss!

Can’t lie I’ve been thinking of doing this as I just want to get my mobo all installed. Can get a 3100 for £95 del.

I could sell my X99 mobo and cpu then.

Or I can just wait till the end of the month.
Iv probably got to RMA my x399 motherboard so I need a system before I send the part away. 3100 would actually likely be faster at gaming then my 1950x was anyway.

Ordered one on Overclockers and another in a bundle on a different site. Had the other site confirm my order and delivery as next week, then contact me again today to say that the order was no longer confirmed and I would have to try to get one in the next scramble. Stupidly, I sent a webnote to OC asking them to cancel my order when I received the confirmation note from the other site, but that was before I received confirmation I was #29 in the queue on OC... Been on hold for 3 hours on the phone today to try to uncancel my cancellation but no dice yet. Here's hoping, eh :(

EDIT: Should say I'm still on the phone while it's ringing, but I don't know whether the customer service line has fully closed at this point or if they're keeping people on to clear the queue. Anyone have any experience from the long phone queues during the 30xx launch?

EDIT 2: Phone went down after being on hold for 3 hours and 30 minutes. Pretty annoyed.

The place i bought from confirmed they had completely sold out by 14:10. Due to demand their site was super laggy so took time to update inventory. Although the item showed instock and allowed me to purchase they're clearly was none left at that point. Hence the preorder email received today. First World problems!

Had the same, only placed the order for my 5800 because it showed in stock, wasn't even looking for the 5800 I wanted a 5600 but they had already gone to pre order. 5800 were showing in stock so I stumped up the extra just to get a CPU.

Then got a mail today telling me I'm in a Q!! and not even close to the front of that Q.

162 queue position for a 5800x at ocuk.
November 30th at other retailer for a 5950x.
Gives me time to weigh up all the options, still considering cancelling both and waiting for hopefully a 5700x to be released.

Official launch was 2pm, might be worth clarifying your incorrect information before whining.
(Yes we all know the thread says 5pm, but it was stated in another thread it would be 2pm, inline with every other seller)

With an attitude like that you could get a job at OCUK no problem

How late do DPD deliver? They clocked my package about 6:30 at a site 3 hours from my house... are they likely to try to bring it at like 9:30 or 10pm? If they miss the next day delivery (today) will they try tomorrow even though it's a Saturday?

Log on an hour before the advertised thread time to check on things, thinking I'm nice and early for once. End up 430 something in a god dam queue.

Current machine crashing non stop and I'm sat here with a load of other components in their box like a mug.

They stop at 9pm

I had the same situation, the product showed in stock, added to cart and checked out, I got the confirmation just after 2pm which stated estimated date as 6th and a second update showing the 6th followed by an email later in the evening stating I'm a preorder with an expected date of the 20th, I get the demand is high and sites struggle with the traffic however it's the conflicting information that irritates me.

Same for me I think it was because my payment never went through until 7pm even though I ordered it at 2:09pm.
I'm not that bothered it's only 2 weeks and the price was very fair compared to OC & others I looked at.

My overclockers 5900x just got collected by DPD, scheduled delivery for Monday.

Why oh why haven't I paid for Saturday delivery :-( No upgrade option available on DPDs website either :-(

It was already showing as preorder when I finally pushed the order through, but clearly was close enough to the front of the queue that it shipped today anyway.
