Just give it a try. If you don’t like it, sell it and get most of your money back.

I played it on ps4, I don't like the dodge, combo combat style. I'm bad at it and I never remember them. Plus I don't really like comic book stuff :)

I liked the other stuff outside of the combat though.

I've been looking to get a decent headset headphones for a while now on, and tempted to get the 3D Pulse ones for PS5, but out of stock everywhere :(

Any recommendations for an alternative, or should I wait and get the 3D pulses?

So seems the PS5 is surprising a few reviewer's and started to shut up the haters :P

I have a feeling my Amazon driver wont be round to my house until 10pm so I have booked Friday off :D

Put an alert on Amazon, I’m sure they’ll come back in soon. I’ve cancelled my set and know a lot of others who have so they must come back in to stock at some point.

Nice! Did not know you could do that! Sweet! :D

Whether or not the alert system works is another thing :p

Good job you can still buy games on disc. Buy for cheaper, sell/trade when done = quite a saving over digital.

I havent done that since I was a child, not sure trading in my game to game uk for a 5th of its value and buying a used game for 5% cheaper than brand new is a good deal. Although probably a bit better doing it on something like ebay.

I am not sure how consoles havent yet moved over, optical media feels like legacy to me.

However the caveat here is, all games need to be made sure they are available on digital.

FF7 remake I brought digital and physical, ended up selling the physical copy, the digital version came with every single DLC (not physical version had them all), and an exclusive theme for less money.

Sony have always been very limited in supported output resolutions compared to Microsoft so it's not really a surprise.

They typically support all of the common TV formats (1080p, 4k, HDMI VRR) and don't think at all about the common PC monitor formats (1440p, FreeSync).

yeah it is nuts, as its only a software stack change, like you said it wont be for cost reasons, I think they stuck in a mindset where they feel they only need to support TV's.

Sounds like you’re doing it wrong. Use Members Market or CEX and you’ll get much better value on recent games.

Having watched a couple of reviews of the pulse 3d I'm going to try and get a set too, they seem very good in terms of audio quality and it's nice to know there'll be no compatability issues.

Was just about to post a warning for those buying this adaptor that it's not HDMI 2.1 compatible so for people with their console going into a HDMI 2.1 compatible TV it's pointless.

I just updated my Astro A50 Gen4's to the latest firmware version and will use USB audio to provide Dolby Atmos on my Series X and just have to live without it on the PS5.

Yep as I said earlier, have to be really careful, check for subsampling 4:4:4 and supported resolutions/framerate.

Likely anything below £50 may not have the required spec.

They’re a Japanese company, and it seems to be the norm for them.

Sega went out of the console business because of that attitude, Nintendo thought they didn’t need Sony at the end on the SNES era and made their own biggest competitor, and no Japanese fighting game developer uses GGPO despite it being demonstrably the best net code because it wasn’t developed by a Japanese company.
