Got my series S coming today from ups and just bagged an X on preorder for delivery before the 2nd dec can’t complain. I don’t actually wanted either I wanted a ps5 but meh what can you do.

But confused by this, you didn't want either console but you bought them anyway?

Why not just wait for the ps5?

I know where you're from, there's a lot more important things going on these days but it's the principle of the matter. Any issues with fulfillment and shipping should have been planned for, other companies seem to have managed.

I've got exact same issue - payment problem when card is fine and I've approved through Barclays app

Also had one ok on John Lewis just before for collection tomorrow and failed on trying to pay as stock had gone. Why isn't stock secured when you add to basket :(
 
Rather worryingly mine (ups) still hasn't been scanned at the local depot . Just has that it left Tamworth at 1.30am...

Still says delivery for today though but i'm not holding my breath!

Completely agree, they've had these orders for well over a month with an expected delivery date that now won't be met. Let me know earlier so I can try and source from elsewhere at the very least. At this point it still shows as being delivered by 8pm today when it hasn't even been despatched. Whenever that's happened historically it's because there's been a delay.
 
I'm going to download Planet Coaster when it shows in gamepass, looks interesting. Its hasn't got the gamepass tag yet, but was listed as coming soon to gamepass like Tetris (already there). I didn't see anything I wanted to try right now on EA Play.

Come on UPS, is it 'by the end of day' yet, its been out for delivery from the local depot since 4am, lol

I can see myself getting a PS5 in 2021 or 2022 depending when ff7 remake part 2 releases or any other ps5 (exclusive?) jrpg, I think my S purchase is feeling more and more sound over the X, as there wasnt a single game in the xbox one generation that I wanted on the xbox, which is why I dont own an xbox one, the S is primarily for me to replay some 360 classics with visual and performance enhancements.

This is why I think the S is a great product, there is so many people looking at the 2 consoles from the assumption people have a free choice over both and since the X is more future proof its the better buy, but use cases and financial situations dont get considered. There is no way I would have justified spending £450 to replay a few classics.

Interesting to learn in this thread there is a fair few ordering 2+ consoles, one person 5 consoles, hope they not scalpers.

It’s ******* unbelievable that this so called stock that was meant to be available for order today...actually isn’t available to buy.
I’ve been sat on Microsoft webpage, currys, game and Asda now and other than Asda showing stock, no one else has even showed up stock :mad:

I can’t even pay with Asda because those dumb ******** can’t even get their payment system sorted.

So absolutely ******* goddamned annoyed right now. Why the lies that they have stock available!!!
