I remember we had all sorts of niggles for the first couple of years with the PS4. They would patch to fix something and break something else. A lot of it was around when they introduced rest mode/quick resume.

I'll just use mine in the way I need to use it. If it bricks it will be sent back and I will play on xbox instead.

It sounds more like people transferring files between systems and pulling the cord with them thinking it's finished.

I reckon there will be a system patch at launch, or just after addressing any potential issues. Most of the common supposed causes of the issues I don’t use anyways.

The more I see of Demon's Souls the less I care about it. The graphics and the music just don't have the same feel at all and don't even get me started on that travesty of a HUD.

You could set up a stock alert at amazon ? They email you as soon as it arrives

To be honest that's another issue...they haven't changed the AI at all so for anyone who's played a souls game before it'll be far too easy .

That's exactly where I am with it, I like the look of it but I know for a fact I won't get on with it (haven't the others)

If you checked a day ago, loads of Smyths stores has them in stock for click and collect, picked mine up this morning. They've all gone now though.

I'm disappointed i still can't find one to buy. Should be a bit of launch day stock available i expect, but I can imagine that will disappear within 5 seconds of going live.

January might be a better bet.

I can see stock being very scarce right past xmas and the new year, maybe until Feb until they're freely available.

I'm tempted..... But struggling with the £70 price tag ..! Feels like such an early adopter price gouge! Just not sure if I'd play it enough to justify that price tag.

Decided to go for call of duty instead as it's reviewing well and I'm sure it's the kind of game I'll spend months playing given how good the online multiplayer is.
