*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Why specifically one of the 3x 8pin cards? There's next to no improvement to power delivery or overclocking headroom compared to the 2x 8pin cards.

I'm aware the additional OC potential is 5% or less, but I'm happy to pay more to get that 5%. Beyond that, I have some really nice Cable Mod cables and I think 3x8 pin with brushed aluminium combs is aesthetically pleasing!

I think I'm gonna cancel

Been waiting since release day, got bumped from getting my card (4 shipped i was position 4, but they gave the 4th one to someone else in the queue).

They made up by giving a £20 discount and a an oc gaming surface (big mouse mat) and was told I would be getting my card last week.

Didn't materialise, I think I'm done.
Yeah promising something like that, and then not delivering is pretty ****.

I really want a Strix OC. It's hard to watch multiple 3080's come into stock everyday, knowing you could buy one, but also knowing you'd probably regret it. I want one of the 3x8 pin cards, MSI is a no go and the Gigabyte ones are north of £900. I would settle for a EVGA FTW3 Ultra, but I keep missing them.

Ultimately, so do I as I've got a Strix motherboard on order, and I'm a stickler for things matching. The £900~ puts me off though, and it would hurt even more if they released a 3080Ti in Jan for just £100 more. Think I'm now in the mindset of I either get an FE for £650, or I simply don't get one.

Does seem odd that they have not arrived, again.

Asus make the most reliable hardware in my experience.

Don't make the mistake of getting a compromise now in the hope of something better coming out in the next few months. I did with my 1070. I got it from a crypto miner on ebay cheap. Here i am several years later desperately waiting for an upgrade. Get the best you can afford now. The depreciation you will get will be offset by the price you paid. i.e. 650 for the FE v 880 for the STRIX OC will be say 400 for the FE and 600 for the strix.

Honestly cannot believe we are now 2 months after launch day, and everyone that wasn't lucky enough to get a pre-order in within the first 15 minutes is still sat in a queue that shows no sign of clearing before the middle of first quarter 2021.

My queue position goes down around 8 places per week, and the majority of those are cancellations (so diminishing returns will set in hard soon). At this rate, I'll get my card in 6 months.

What other sub £1k product do you have to wait 8 months for if you preordered within the first hour or two on launch day?

Has anyone heard any news about the 3080 amp holo, released in Asia and the US and apparently another place in the UK had them delivered on the 13th but no information at all from OCUK that there even coming anytime soon

It has been 60 days sice my order of a MSI Gaming 3080 Trio
60 days to got from 149 to 23
60 days to see not even the fist hour of orders completed
60 days of reading the forums
60 days of waiting for a update
60 days of people asking Overclockers to start acting like a professional company not a side alley market stall
60 days of @Gibbo not showing a ounce of care about the customers
60 days of disappointment
Dear Overclockers trough your stubborn refusal to engage with you customers and to learn form other company's handling of the shortage has got me here.
You have loss all my good will, destroyed your reputation, be happy your competition has gained another customer in the future.

Not been on here for a while as I got lucky with a FE after cancelling my TUF. What is going on with the prices !? Multiple 3070s more expensive than the 3080 FE.

Wow this is atrocious, 60 days after release and this is all we are getting in the EVGA queues, 2 out of 5 lines and very small amounts at that, that is shocking

***********EVGA*************

Arriving next week we have a very small amount of:
3080 XC3 Ultra Gaming
3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming

Same story at other retailers. EVGA favouring the US market, evident from their queue system. Primarily making the Ultra varients as it makes them more money. I get business is business, but they don't seem to give a **** about paid customers. This isn't OCs fault, but it would be good to know the dialogue between Exertis and OCUK. Will we see the Gaming and Black variants? Who knows.

So with the massive delays with the cards, I'm guessing you will lose some warranty by 2 or more months? As most warranty claims are done using the original receipt, which will say 17th September 2020.
