There's no way all these cards aren't be shipped by airfreight at the moment. Whilst the demand is so high all these cards will be coming in by plane. Whoever here said that large shipments can't come in by plane is talking nonsense too. My brother is a pilot for Virgin and Virgin have been given contracts for airfreight whilst the covid situation is ongoing. All the Virgin 787's have had their entire seats and upper deck removed so they're now just huge cargo planes. They can fit in serious amounts of graphics cards if serious amounts of graphics cards are ready to ship.

Same with a lot of the big airlines. They need to keep those planes not in mothballs flying and get the pilots some hours to keep their type rating so when demand picks up they're not caught napping. So they're flying them long haul without passengers and taking just freight. It's not making them money, just losing them less.

I think the second isn't yours to keep. When someone makes a mistake, you cannot just keep it. They can goodwill it to you if they choose. But if they ask for it back then you have to let them pick it up...So i ordered one....... and got lucky i guess

Finally managed to grab a Palit GamingPro OC (or any non-scalper 3080) from a competitor there with a due date of the 30th of November. So now to see which comes first, it or my Eagle OC at Position 119 from OCUK
I had insight deliver me the same router twice on consecutive days about 15 years ago. Only got charged once. About three days later I got a phone call saying "We sent you two by mistake, can you send the second one back?" The answer was a polite no, but I'd happily be at home on a particular day if they wanted to send someone to collect it. The man from TNT duly turned up as requested.
Got my Palit this afternoon as well from elsewhere, box looks ok no damage and seals in place, not opened yet.
Mine had estimate as tomorrow when purchased on Sunday but got dispatch email yesterday at 17:56, and tracking this morning showed with courier for delivery today.

It's blowing my mind that there was no update today.
The main competitor gave their customers two updates, received more of some evga cards than they had pre orders (which they offered to existing customers...), and had the FE drop.
We had a dream amount of nothing.

I've been pretty calm about the whole situation, but if something like that were to happen that is NO excuse. Get someone else to do it. Not on when you have 1000's of standing orders at £700~ a piece. He's also been on the forums today (last at 1500)
Was shocked and pretty dissapointed there was no update today, every other store in the UK seems to be getting stock.
