New old games for my son, recommendations please?

Looking for some new games for my 13yr old son, he's very mature for his age, so we've just started letting him play some of the more adult 18 rated games, and I'm now thinking of looking through the older games to keep him occupied.

He's just played through God of War, a couple of Assassins Creeds, Bloodborne, etc.

I've ordered him The Witcher 3, Dark Souls Trilogy, God of War III Remastered, and probably going to get Sekiro too.

Any other recommendations please, he says GOW is the best game he's ever played if that helps? Cheers.
 
Which platform? Horizon Zero Dawn if PS4 it was the best game of the generation for me. Resident Evil 2 remake is great value too.
 
Sorry, should have said it's on PS4, he's also got an old GTX980 gaming PC, but mostly games on the console.

I'll have a look into those, thanks for the replies.

Many thanks, I've just bought myself GOT, we've got The Last of Us and Spiderman, I'll look into the rest.

Not sure he's quite ready for GTA5 yet, even I was slightly offended by that one! :D
 
Just chuck him on GTA V and let him learn about life if he's super mature
 
My two love playing the horse game (RDR2) and the car game (GTA5) as we call them outside the house/school run etc. If your kid knows right from wrong and that a game is a game, they can have loads of fun messing around in a huge open world playground

Spiderman is great as well, my 8 year old loved just swinging around, climbing building etc and then giving me the controller to do the fights.

TBH those will keep him busy for hours and hours if he ends up liking them, especially the souls games. I'm currently replaying these in advance of demon souls (remake) and DS1 kept me busy for about 40 hours alone!
 
I can't offer any further recommendations but if you've just ordered him The Witcher 3 then I'd stop right there.

I put over 500 hours into that game. Never mind Fallout 4, Skyrim , RDR2 etc. Thousands of hours. Lost in gaming.

Don't regret a minute of it but, surely a 13 year old has better things to do with his time?

Under normal circumstances, he plays football on a Saturday and a Sunday, and trains 3-4 times a week, but that's not happening for the foreseeable future, so gaming will have to suffice as a substitute for now. ;)

Thanks for all the replies, ordered him a few bits and pieces, and I might enjoy playing the odd one too, bonus.

It's only backwards compatible through PlayStation Now, had to Google it, lol!
