I've perhaps missed some posts about it, but did anyone go for the Pulse headset? Curious to know what it's like and whether it's worth the money.

Still maintain retailers should limit purchases to one per household during the initial launch period. Say the first two weeks or something.

It’s absolutely ridiculous, a guy a few doors down from me had a dozen PS5’s delivered yesterday, all going straight on eBay. A complete tosspot as far as I’m concerned.

My confirmed pre-order was delayed due to shortages and even spent several unsuccessful hours yesterday trying to source one.

And all because of the greed of a few scalpers!
How would that work if people order from five different shops?

My currys order status has changed to dispatched but not received any emails yet.

Anyone else who ordered before 9am in the same boat?

Mine has changed to "in progress", but from reading earlier comments some have had the status of their order changed to dispatched too. A few mentioned that the email with tracking number was delayed, and in some cases the package arrived before the tracking email was even sent !

Apparently with the Xbox people didn't get dispatch emails until after 9pm on the day.

Will keep an eye out but can't help but not get excited, I was initially told 15th but if they've dispatched it today I must be quite lucky, hopefully!

Although a lot of people have received an email stating they will receive a PS5 by no later than the 15th December, myself included, the general consensus is the majority of the orders will be fulfilled by the 25th November. And that ties in with the other correspondence I've received from Currys which states the 25th November - not the 15th December.

Then good luck to them. It would be considerably harder than purchasing a dozen from one retailer. Sure it’s not perfect but it would have helped more people get their hands on one.

I suspect I'll be getting a Pulse 3D when it's back in stock. I've no idea if it supports other BT headphones but one must presume so.
My only problem with PS5 no optical out , so what are people using for headphones ?

No Bluetooth headphones are supported, the Pulse 3D use a USB Wireless dongle for connection.

To get 3D audio you either need a USB headset, or any 3.5mm headset/headphones plugged in via the dualsense 3.5mm socket.

@antijoke yeah just don't stress yourself out about it. You got the X as you said.

I'm really really impressed with the controller, Astro is one of the most fun games I've played since Mario odyssey.

I agree that the PS button is a bit awkward to press.

I did not know that. Bit baffled why another wireless dongle is required, chewing up another usb port, considering the controller is wireless bluetooth?! Oh Sony.

Because, very bluntly, Bluetooth is really bad for headsets. Add in bandwidth required for a microphone......you really wouldn't want to use it.

EE have cancelled my order because I'm on a SIM-only contract, even though I have broadband with them as well. Then I check the forum and they've processed some SIM only customers orders, utter scum tbh.
