Upgrades to get the most out of 27" 165hz 1440p monitor

Hi all, I posted similar a while back, before the 30xx series information was available.

As per the title, what can I / should I upgrade to get the best out of my monitor?

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070Ti (overclocked)
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600x (overclocked to 3.8Ghz)
CPU COOLER: be quiet! Dark Rock 4
RAM: Team Group Vulcan T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) - 3200Mhz
MOBO: Gigabyte Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming 5 AMD X370
PSU: Antec EarthWatts Gold Pro 650W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply
SSD: TeamGroup 480GB L5 Lite SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps
HDD: Seagate 2TB BarraCuda Internal Hard Drive
CASE: Antec P8 Midi-Tower Gaming Case

Your cpu is probably loosing between 10% -20% in frames compared to a 3600x so that's something to consider.

A 3070 is 2080ti performance but with less vram
 
Alternatively a radeon rx 6800 with 16 gig ram. Slightly better performance than the 3070 unless you really want to use lots of ray tracing or dlss.

Agree a 3600 would be a good upgrade to your 1600x. Non X version of the 3600 can be had for under £200 elsewhere.
