Spurs seem to play a lot like Leicester this season. Defend very deep and then counter attack in numbers using Son's pace as their main weapon.
Mines not done it since you mentioned either.
I don't know what has happened to defending this season but defenders have just been awful. Spurs are perfectly set up to exploit this sort of thing as well. We're not even seeing defences overrun or moved out of position, were just seeing defenders not bother to track runs or pay attention to the opposition attackers at even a basic level.

Man City have created pretty much nothing
have to give spurs and Mourinho credit for that they’ve played well stopping city and taking their chances
Its the same as the United game where they spanked us. Spurs are playing OK, not doing anything special, not playing amazing well. City are just defending like a pub team. Its comical how easily Spurs have scored their two goals and nearly had more. Spurs won't win the league but they will do well this season if the current quality of defending continues. They are well set up just to absorb pressure and exploit defensive mistakes from their opposition. Not exciting to watch but effective.

Kane has a fantastic ability to fall down in the opposite direction of the one he's being pulled/touched.
Some would call it cheating wouldn't they...

It was the same last season. City are so vulnerable to any team that plays on the counter with pace.

Chelsea haven't really played any of the big teams yet apart from Liverpool who they lost to and their champions League group is basically Europa League.

Excellent performance from Spurs, particularly from Kane and the tank in midfield.
Can't remember a team defending as deep as Spurs do, Kane was just outside his own 18 yard box for half of the game. Your normal park the bus teams usually only have 10 men behind the ball, not 11. Works very well with Kane holding the ball and Son and the other winger sprinting from deep.
City look in trouble, just pass after pass and even looking for passes rather than a shot when in the box.

Even still about 15-20% of England's current population have actually seen Spurs win a league so I am sure the fans will take it!
