Cyberpunk 2077 - What you need to run it

What if this game turns out to be another GTA. I am sick of the flood of open world games. Curious as to why so many folks are hyped up about this game? :)

Game could be awful and it'll still be a success, all aboard the hype train. Personally I'll be waiting 6 months after release to get it, cheap and realitively bug free.

I'll be waiting a year at least. Only then will it be bug free, cheap and also include all DLC

I anyhow have this huge backlog just got out of playing Gothic 1+2.. lol those games were before my PC gaming days but I am saturated with open world.. riftbreaker is looking interesting though and I am getting this strong urge to replay supcom

It is kind of funny how the people who buy a game first pay the most, but have to deal with bugs and in some instances less content, than someone who buys the game later on and potentially gets it bundled with DLC, while paying less.

It's not much different than someone watching a film at the cinema rather than waiting for the DVD with all the extra bits. If you like hype and are looking forward to seeing/playing it, then you are going to have to accept that it might be a disappointment (then hit social media to bitch about it) or as in games, have bugs on release. I have only ever pre-ordered a few games in my time and appreciate the hype can be a real draw and part of the experience.
But totally get what you are saying. I bought The Witcher 4 years after release and was blown away. However, I pre-ordered GTA V and was waiting for the pre-load to unpack at midnight. Never done it before and was 100% the thrill of the release. As expected, had issues on my set up but it did not regret the purchase or the extended wait or staying up late.

We are garners and tbf someone has to test it :D

Why? If you like the game it wont matter what card you use...

Because I'm not buying into a game that looks to favor Nvidia without knowing first how it will perform on my hardware. Did the same with Witcher 3 and the wait paid off as that ran pretty poorly at release on AMD hardware.

Not being an ass but I dont spec a PC around one game. Saying that my PC isnt just a gaming machine. I also try to get a few years out of components so the upgrade every couple of years stopped sometime in 2005.

Well, I will pre-orrder this game, purely because the devs don't give a **** about release dates etc and their games are always amazingly greaaaaaat!

I am wondering why this game is so hyped. Did the Witcher three really receive that much praise?

Had CDPR timed our collective thinking that punkism with cyber twists is cool, perfectly like it were a fashion?

I understand why people do it. I also get wanting to jump in because of the hype *cough*among us*cough*, but the "frugal" side of me just feels like sometimes it is too much of a slap in the face.

I pre ordered it for 23 quid ;)

I can't speak for other. But for me I really enjoyed witcher 3 (I got the game a few years after release) and I also happen to like robots and stuff.

Same, I have enjoyed all the Witcher games and never short of content either, so CDPR are a company I don't mind chucking a pre-order at
