*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

LOL I just got banned from the OCUK discord. No warning, no message, nothing. Someone complained that cards are shipping without an update and I pointed out that's pretty common, despite OCUK staff saying they post everything they know about the warehouse staff are clearly silenced and can't tell anyone what cards they're posting out.

This company and it's CS team is an absolute joke.
They're getting fed up of people pointing out how **** they are that's why

Still incredibly unprofessional to do so without a warning. Having spoken to the CS manager in the past all bans are supposed to go through him as well and it was too fast to be through him, considering he wasn't online at the time. shot him a friend request so hopefully he accepts and we can chat about the situation.

I'm 99% sure I know which member of staff it was, they've had it out for me since day 1 and they're generally quite aggressive towards customers and seem a little power hungry. Might go full Karen and put in a complaint about him.

I got removed yesterday after asking if Gibbo is doing the best job he can considering competitors seem to be getting cards in the 100's where as OCUK are getting drip fed stock, just seems like a lot of CS people getting frustrated with dealing with the same questions and taking it out on the people in the discord

OK, **** this. I'm getting out. Cancelling my order for AUS TUF non OC today. Currently number 265, down from 460. Ordered at 17.30 on the 17th Sep. Going to try my luck somewhere else, because i cant see myself ever getting anything from OC now. Two months and not one single card shipped? Pathetic.

i ordered on the 17th at 16:50pm for a evga ftw3 ultra, @Gibbo has mentioned evga ONCE during this whole FARCE. Im in position 21 and severely fed up

One of the things im gunna guess is the problem with OcUK getting stock is that OcUK is owned by Case King in Germany. So I imagine they organise the stock that goes to OcUK.

I dont know if this is how it works but its one of my guesses.

OC are having no problem getting stock. Issue they have is that they keep putting the stock in prebuilds instead of sending out to the queue. Its called greed and dishonesty!

Just don't order the non-OC Tuf again elsewhere...

It may not actually be discontinued, but it is a very low/no margin card and as long as ASUS get GPUs that bin high enough to go in the other cards the non-OC Tuf is going to be in extremely short supply.

They are in such short supply that even the prebuild customers are queued. Poor things, ordered mid October and still not got his TUF, mind you he is number 4 in the queue last week.

i can update you on what is happening : sweet **** all. Gibbo is flashing his new car in his signature like a bloody 12 year old and the ASUS rep is MIA.
I know his handling of the situation is a disgrace and @ASUS GPU Support @GIGA-Man are hiding but I can’t think of anything else to try to get answers but tag them OCUK Customer support has give up and I’m fed up of being kept in the dark it’s been over 2 months they have had my money.

So @Gibbo can you please update us ?

To those who think it's dishonest that cards keep going to prebuilds:

Cards that are destined for prebuilds don't come with the retail box. They're delivered specifically for use in prebuild systems. Retail units are delivered as retail units. They essentially come in multipacks with "not to be sold separately" on them. I'm annoyed too, I placed my order within an hour of release, and i'm now position 8. There have only been 15 of my card through OCUK since then. I was position 30 when the queue updates started coming out, which shows how many people have cancelled.

I get it though. 2020 is messed up. In any other year, this may well have been enough stock to cover demand, but with everyone finding ways to entertain themselves staying home, PC upgrades are more sought after than ever.

what is the OC discord channel. I cant get through on the phones atm.
Don't use your landline to phone them!

I did cos they was not getting back to my webnotes and i was in a queue for over 50 mins (worst music and messages played i have ever heard!!!) and i spoke to 2 different people for about 10 mins and i got charged nearly 12 quid!

I complained about it to ocuk and this is the snotty sarcastic reply i got from them!

"Dear XXXXX XXXXXXXX

A phone cannot tell the difference between somebody waiting in a queue, or speaking to an advisor - it's not intelligent enough to make that distinction. A call is a call as far as it's concerned.

Regards,

Liam F"

Do they really think they need to talk to someone like that knowing the person trying to order parts knows about how electronics work?

I hope everyone is remembering to give ocuk a bad review where ever they can.

A million people can call him out . The crab won't appear from under the rock

Asus GPU support and Giga-man probably dont check this thread everyday. Im guessing they do more at work than stare at a forum. You need to be patient with them as they arent going to instantly know when they are mentioned.

They are retail cards. Don Mecca's mate got a retail gigabyte in his prebuild from OC. That shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. They aren't selling OEM cards as they are significantly cheaper thus very low margin. Any Director of an AIB selling OEM stock right now when there is a shortage like this would be out of a job and deservedly so.

Im starting to think there is more to it all then just low stock from Nivida.
I wont be surprised if its something to do with brexit and the staff now dont give a hoot* cos they know something is going to happen in the future to there jobs anyways?
I cant believe the staff have acted the way they have!
