Right so i have been dilly dallying far too long about getting an upgrade on and i am going to commit to doing it before Xmas
i have been following the threads for a while and cant seem to decide what is the best way to go.
Points to consider
i have seen a couple of threads which propose something like the below.
or if i fancied going down the 3600 route
is there a big benefit in going for a 3600vs say a 3100/3200/3300x
Taking this into account what would you recommend for a spec with a budget of £500 ?

Points to consider
- ideally i want to reuse my case(antec 900) & PSU (Corsair HX520W)
- Would like a small SSD to run the operating system off
- main use is for general use and gaming
- i only run 2x screens @ 1080p
- I dont play that many games and im not that bothered about running everything on ultra graphics
- Fallout
- Age of empires II DE
- Darksiders 3
- Fortnite
- I am probably not going to upgrade it for a while, the last time was 10 years ago, so im not too bothered about it being upgradeable and ready for the next generation processor
