Lol you got to admit you really are throwing out some bait though ....
Yes indeed, thats because people were trying to wind me up earlier in the thread lol. One person wished they were faulty because they were to lazy to get out of bed to spam the pre order sites. Then complain they have nothing.
LG CX. I'm very pleased with it. I'm not sure I'd want to go go back to led now but both types have their advantages.
Its fine most the day it's just at times like on AC where I'm wondering if I'm playing it as the devs intended but I end up just choosing what looks good to me. Most games only have a minor adjustment to make.
I've just finished Act 2, (prisons...) I'm expecting lots of boss fights until the end!Just finished The Spiderman remaster.
So freaking glad I waited for the PS5. Loved every minute of it. Fantastic cast and story.
The way Miles is brought into the story is great
Sony has come out flexing straight out of the gate.
Anyone else manage to jump on the ShopTo preorders yesterday evening?
Apparently they tweeted out they will be shipping on Monday! I was expecting after Christmas!
I'm still not getting my hopes up, though. Or trying not to.
They emailed me Thursday lunchtime to say my PS5 was in their warehouse, but not heard anything since.
If they’re shipping Monday then it’s great news. Surprised they couldn’t have emailed me the details though!
Was that a launch day preorder or more recent?

I'm guessing it's probably a miscommunication, but one can dream!
Use HGIG under dynamic tone mapping in HDR Game mode and then any game that has a luminance control, set it to 800 nits.I've never understood HDR. My tv is setup fine for it and looks great but it's the internal game adjustments that make no sense. AC Origins says at the start, adjust the slider until the image is barely visible, so if I take the brightness all the way down to 0 I can still see it just about and then of course the game is too dark, but I'm just following the instruction. I'm wondering if the PS5 overall HDR settings from my calibration is confusing the already HDR enabled games for PS4.

Hopefully more games will support the OS HDR calibration and confusing screens will go away.
HGIG disables the TV’s tone mapping and uses the consoles, LG OLED’s top out at around 700-800 nits so it’s a good number to use.Out of interest why 800? I was under the impression that you should match that to your tv's specified luminance or max nit or is that the max of my tv. We got the same tv?

How do you know when the DualSense Controller is fully charged?
Mine has been connected via the USB cable for around 4 hours and its only on 2 bars still
