I've recently purchased a few Autobrite Direct products.
Really impressed with the finish Project64 gives, however if left on the paintwork too long it's a bit of a pain to buff off.
For this finish I used:
Jennychem Snowstorm Snowfoam
Cheap and cheerful cherry shampoo
2x coat of Project64
Not bad for around 50 minutes work.

I also used their interior spray which gives a nice finish to the plastics bringing it back up to almost new.

Jennychem also do a quick orange wax which I'm going to try next as it's around £22 for 5 litres which will also be ideal to use on the caravan.
I'm also tempted to purchase a DA polisher as the cars and caravan could really do with a cut, will see what santa brings!
I'm looking to get a pressure washer in the BF sale to clean the car, patio and driveway and was thinking of getting a Nilfisk but saw the Bosch EasyAquatak 120 with Home and Car kit on sale for £70, is it any good or wait for tomorrow to see if any Nilfisk deals comes up?
I had to buy more snowfoam recently, and as BH Autofoam seems to be in short supply, I decided instead to go back to Autobrite Magifoam.
Forgot how incredibly thick it is - I washed the car on Sunday afternoon. It hasn't rained since, and there' still remnants of the foam on the ground now, on Wednesday morning![]()
BH Autofoam is not in short supply, ordered one yesterday, its been delivered today
AMZ and a lot of car detail shops online all say "in stock" from what i can tell
Thanks, I will wait for tomorrow but also saw the Karcher K2 Full Control for £80 but read reviews that it has poor build quality.I own the Aquatak 120 and while it’s fine as a pressure washer, I found it difficult to get hold of correct fittings to use accessories. I’d personally say wait to see if a nilfisk shows up, wish I had done.
What kind of brushes do you use to wash your car? I have read a blog review of the Mofeez brush, it soft and gentle bristles, ideal for cleaning boat exterior, car, RV, house windows, and more. I really like the multipurpose of this brush
Gave my F10 a good wash today , paired up garage therapy shampoo with their "two sigma". Always used AG car shampoo in the past but really liked the GT shampoo, seemed to sud up more, felt slicker with the wash mitt and smelt nice...
When cleaning the inside I noticed that one of the centre console storage compartment covers is now a different colour to the other half.. a bit annoying really as now I've noticed it , it's going to bug me..
Not affiliated in any way are you hahah
didn't see that bit lol
Whats has caused that UV or a cleaning product?
I haven’t, I’ve got some towels from many years ago. The trick is to have 2, one plush to soak up much of the water and another waffle weave for a quick 2nd pass to get it properly dry and streak free.
Definitely consider a waffle weave towel for the 2nd towel. Wipe one panel with the mammoth then straight over it again with the waffle weave. Will reply here to save clogging up the other thread. That's what I do now, using a Chemical Guys woolly mammoth, and some other cloth. But they're also a few years old now and were never great when new. The woolly mammoth does suck up a lot of water but I can never get a decent finish with my other cloth, always leaves streaks behind. Will invest in some new stuff I think.
