UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 3rd Dec 2020]

I'll only comment on the negatives to be honest.

I've felt the side has been lacking for a while however results have masked inadequacies.
 
It's all so slow and laboured.

Playing football as a kid I was told to turn and go, no one seems to want to do that. Suarez however was exceptional at it.

Jota aside, our attacking threat has been pretty impotent for weeks now too.
 
Ajax much better tonight, we've been well off the pace. Mane, Salah and Jota all lacking an edge and Henderson can barely run without looking knackered.

Nice to have a two footed keeper that can save the ball, doesn't invite pressure and plays it out fast. Adrian's done until Kelleher breaks his leg in a few weeks.
 
Kelleher has been decent and Matip/Fab are class but that's it.

Jota has had the touch of a rapist, I can't recall Salah having a touch and Mane doesn't want to run - couple that with an incredibly beige midfield and it's hard to envisage a win.

Would love Minamino to come on and change things but I think that's unlikely.
 
Excluding first 10 minutes from us and Jones early chances everything else is just meh.

We just haven't done much of anything of note, Jota has looked good with his touches.

Kelleher done well too
 
Salah needs to sort his ****, was never getting to that ball.

Do the commentators not realise Ajax are inviting the press so they can play it long and take out our midfield?
