The big question is, why no more pre order system (with no limits just take whatever order you can get) not been done? We know sony will "eventually" fulfill at some point. Let people get an order in.

How did people even find out EE were selling them?

People post on here "after" the event lol.

I signed up to them as well, not had a single notification of them for anything lol, not for rtx, not for ps5, not for xbox. The obvious problem been with stock informer, even if they fix it, it doesnt know before but only after.

Probably because you will get people moaning about waiting forever, look at all people not pleased with waiting list for RTX3000 series, Ryzen 5000 series and even Radeon 6000 series.

I've had a few notifications from them using discord, but all were out of stock when I got there. I never even got anything from them about Studio.co.uk so they aren't catching everything

I would rather be waiting then be refreshing websites a 100 times a day, clearly its the lesser evil. Ironically they would probably get it quicker as on a queue system, obvious scalping can be cleared out, so what may be a starting 6 month wait could be only a couple of weeks instead, vs having websites sold out after 30 seconds with 99% going to scalpers.

Yep thats what I would expect, the lag from them finding the product, and getting the message out, and also they wont catch the little retailers not many know about.

But those same people that "scalped" could be in the early queue and still receive their pre-order for them to only sell it after receiving it.
Works both ways I guess, buying new tech this year is just as bad as this pandemic.

If the retailer is an idiot I guess yeah, even someone only been in a queue for a day it is vastly easier to vet their order than having orders processed in seconds.

I can see this lasting years if the current system is persisted with, it works out perfect for a scalper, where joe public only has little tiny windows to submit orders, and in the mean time scalpers can sell enough units to fund new orders.

I'm refreshing about 10 different webpages whenever I get the chance at work hoping one will appear. I was in GAME yesterday trading in a couple of things and asked if they had any in stock and told me they had a few in on Tuesday at around 4pm - I was going to go down on Tuesday but couldn't be bothered so missed out :o

Which ones? You can get the trophies on any difficulty which may help.

On the final story mission and I've done all the side quests etc. I'll start NG+ when I'm finished, may as well go for plat. :p
