Ive cancelled my 3080 OC Strix as i have sourced a 3090 FE from elsewhere. I am aware of the price increase as well as the performance "increase".
so if you are above queue position 984, enjoy your bump.
 
I have seen quite a few 3090s for sale. It is tough not to buy one as some of them are going for AIB SRP. It would be tougher to resist if I saw a single ASUS card for sale so it is good for me that there are none as I cannot justify the cost of a 3090.

Same for ASUS. There was a notice last week from Gibbo saying an Asus shipment was coming with the usual estimates for all variants. But nothing since, and no where near the qty I need to get one. I have seen some people posting they are like 2nd in the queue for some cards for weeks and nothing. Where are you?

asus 3070 hasnt been too bad. went from 150ish to 53 since launch which isnt great but better than being stuck in the same place for weeks

I really like my Palit. Full load, ultra preset, in some game ray tracing on. Max.fps pushed to my monitor and temperature is not going above 68. It is very quiet. Looks nice, just need to download thundermaster to sync rgb with the rest of my case. Palit also draws less energy than TUFs , gigabyte's. Yeah on non OC profile all of this for 4-5 fps less. Ive had a few Palit cards, which is why I went for the 3080 Palit. Im just hoping to see it this side of christmas if I can.
 
Was tempted to buy the 3090 FE, was in stock for most of yesterday. Even when I went to bed early hours this morning. Couldn't do it though. Although was in the basket a few times. Ain't paying like double the amount of a 3080. Could upgrade most of the rest of my PC for that:rolleyes:

Did almost have me just to get out of this mess though...
 
I reckon this week we will move only due to calculations (Asus Tuf OC), I hope I'm wrong tho and there was actual delivery. There are some peeps that don't have a forum accounts so there is a possibility

Around 50, we don't even have a vague shipment listed.

As the message regarding the ASUS shipment stated "due," with no idea where the shipment is coming from, and no further info, I was assuming it had not arrived. One thing is clear, I am not getting my cards before 10th December barring a miracle delivery from ASUS.
 
Well, Tested my AMP Holo 3080

stock at light-medium load its at 1770MHz (base clock) Very Quiet at stock settings
Heavy load like 4K it auto boost to 2115MHz

Overclocked at 110% Power limit, it goes to 2200MHz but drops back to 1990-2050 when the 76Degrees Celsius is reached.
Memclock was also overclocked and was running at 1282MHz x 8


And actually, it is not loud at all. Max temp though is at 76 Degrees Celsius. But never goes higher this is with the Overclock and stock Fan settings. (I guess the TUF definitely cools better with stock coolers as I saw on the reviews it stayed at 65 Celsius underload, this Holo goes to 75-76 but really its not loud)

It now has the EKWB Trinity OC Waterblock (They are compatible both on the Trinity and Holo amp).
Idle 32-35 Degrees, Underload 49-54 Degrees. You definitely cannot hear it anymore.
Paired with a 5900X

Anyway I am happy with these, I was lucky to get one after cancelling the TUF from a competitor.

I do not think they have ever received any as of yet, doubt they are even chasing it up as they are so inept at getting stock.

It not looking likely OCUK's competitor that bothers to update its customers have said all there asus shipments have been delayed till 9-18th dec and they have been given shipments is far more regularly
 
They have supposedly got 10,000 containers of un useable PPE blocking all storage at ports like Felixstowe etc, They should have them moved to a disused runway somewhere to allow all the imports in.
