Yep, pretty much got that listed thanks

We originally had a neff integrated microwave but decided against it this time round. Well, it blew up on Sunday so had to dash out to Currys for a new one.

I have designed it all out, might post some pics soon.

My doors were from Hanley Trade frames in Stoke On Trent. We have friends in the trade we got them at cost £1971 + VAT they are 2065 x 2950 They are their AliGilde doors. We picked them as they have very slim sightlines of only 120mm and U values of 1.4

The Glazing is 6mm Saint Gobain Cool-Lite SKN 176 which was £400 + VAT (also trade)

Fitting was (plus the windows) was £450

The glass is insanely good. Argon Filled U value of 1.0, g-value 0.37, 70% Light transmission. We catch the afternoon sun and this stuff blocks 90% of the solar gain. In winter they perform very well.

Just down the road from me then. Thanks, I'll have a look. I want to replace my concrete garage with a nice wooden insulated summer room and would really like doors like this to open the space up to the outside and make the garden feel larger. Bit more than I was looking at spending but always worth it if the quality is good.

Are DIY Kitchens still recommended? Just about to put an order in for our medium sized kitchen using their Clayton range and choosing the bespoke painted option.
I've not been up to their showroom as it's a 7 hour round trip but I can't imagine it being too much different to Howdens/Wren/Magnet etc. that we have looked at already. We gave them a Howdens quote to work from and going through all the items it seems to match up perfectly.

I think so

We suggested them to one of my wifes colleagues and she's been very happy so far (although she's not received the products yet)

It was quite a trek for us (3 times) but the showroom is definitely worth it if you can go.

We are also very pleased with our kitchen install.

I would like to visit but we had samples delivered and the design is identical to the one at Howdens so I'll try and save myself the journey as we don't have anymore decisions to make.

Fair enough.

Have you done the virtual walk around their showroom, it’s on their website?

Pay extra for the best delivery service.

Also if you have the space get it delivered two weeks early. Gives you opportunity to check for damage, missing items and get it sorted. Last thing you want is your fitters having to wait.

Yeah i still rate mine. If i was buying again I'd buy from them. Albeit id maybe consider an alternate style to white gloss but thats just as my tastes have changed.

To be honest if i had the cash id buy a new kitchen from them (for my new house, not to replace existing :D).

I didn't go to showroom either, think you'll be fine. Id recommend pan drawers (as many as you can! :D)

Cheers, that's reassuring. The samples they sent were good. I think it's a 19mm MDF door we're going with that will be painted. We've only got space for 1 unit of drawers but it's a 600mm with double pan drawers and a cutlery drawer.

They only have the £99 standard delivery as an option. I'm guessing that's not the best delivery service?

No, you have to carry it all yourself and it's all heavy!

I got the cheapest delivery option, but if I was reordering now, id get them most expensive, where they do all the work!

we are having a new kitchen soon and hear these folks recommended a lot

no idea how to go about it all though

I assume prices are fixed (another option Howden are very negotiable)

Do they do the design or do we need to sort all that?
