There has been all this talk about every other cpu being sorted before Christmas meanwhile 5800x and 5600x customers left in the dark but every company and there nan is selling them daily? Just seems very weird that all these companies have them in stock but ocuk isn't getting any?

Also bought on the day position 114 on the day and paid launch price no postage cost.

No worries. I'm not in any pre-order queues for a GPU though, so it'll be ages before I can finish my build anyway
 
Keep in mind that they have a crazy amount of orders (Gibbo said 5K+, IIRC, was in the GC thread yesterday) due to the time of the year so things are probably slow to go through and possibly a bit messy. But that doesn't excuse the lack of info on the 5800 and 5600...

Great to see more people getting theirs.
 
Not had my email for the 5600x yet but there is something strange going on

20th Nov - 968
27th Nov - 906

So over the last two weeks 62 5600x have shipped but some people are saying they have been position 11 and 22 for two weeks.
 
5600x ‘order shipped’ email at 11.33AM today after no queue update yesterday.

Last queue position 184 on 27th Nov

Ordered 15.25 on launch day.

Providing this comes in good time, this beats a competitor who I ordered through earlier on launch day (only ordered twice due to not being certain one had gone through after inputting card details).. their last update came via email on 20/11/2020 to confirm ‘the current ETA is 18/12/2020’
 
Will confirm when it arrives, but in the meantime, I do hope everyone gets theirs in good time - I will be cancelling the other order unless it dispatches before the OC one arrives
 
I was 60ish in the queue (5600x) and just got my shipping email through. Fingers crossed it's just an email system error due to such a large amount being shipped?

People lower in the queue were seeing less improvement, the higher in the queue, the more people cancel.
 
5900X arrived today!

Got it up and running for the last hour, no crashes as yet and it's happily boosting around 4.7-4.9 across all cores at stock so fingers crossed it looks like a solid unit unlike the last one.
 
I’m guessing those that are getting shipping emails today won’t get them before Monday or Tuesday as they probably will have a pick up from Dpd on either Sunday night or Monday night.

I would guess there is some reason for the way the orders are being picked and packed, I’m hopeful that mine will be picked this weekend as position 275 in the 5900x queue. Though won’t be able to use it as I’ve been holding off buying a new motherboard until it ships and all the MB’s i want at out of stock everywhere (crosshair hero viii or dark hero)

I’ve just now had a text from dpd saying I’ll get it on the 7th and will get text before 11AM with delivery slot.. hopefully helps others
