*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

oc are a joke waiting 3 working days for dispatch of my next day order... all showing in stock.(water cooling fluid so hardly an in demand product)

Customers services just said they are maxed and have back log....funny they don’t splash that on the website front page!

manage my expectations at time of ordering and I would have been happy but typical oc no contact and no updates...

This level of service just can’t go on when they don’t even offer good prices.

I've had to suspend payment system my company's site until after Christmas despite hosting products from dozens of suppliers and leave a banner detailing this accordingly. Literally cannot fulfill any further orders untill January due to either supply constraints or order backlog. Just got to be honest with customers

100 percent just be honest.

Give the customer the choice if they want to wait. Rather than bad service.

I would have been happy upfront to have waited and still done an order and could have made plans based on realistic time frame.

Example of bad service: I asked what’s going on with my order in my web note and just got we have a back log.... not we have a back log and it will be in the next x days....

Such a poor answer only generates more work for customer services as my next note was ok how many days eta please....

The management in oc need to look at the right kpi’s to judge its performance.

Just feel that oc is not pulling together as a company when you see public statements from staff saying will have to see if IT can’t make voucher codes. I’d be in serious trouble if I said that to a customer. Help needs to be given to the departments from management ASAP.

What's odd is how I went 13th in the queue for a 3080 TUF OC to position 14. :(

It is odd and if you were further back in the que I'd say speak to someone at OCUK. But regardless, you should be getting your card with the incoming shipment of 20 cards so it's all good.
I hope nobody went from 20th to 21st, you'd be pished.

Hi there

To let you guys know cards which are not currently listed like the Suprim Cards and there are some others, we are currently building up the stock piles.

Once those stock piles are built up I shall then speak with CS and we shall make one of the following decisions:
- Contact customers waiting for an MSI 3080 Gaming X if they wish to upgrade - ONLY possible if CS have the time to do so, right now zero chance, but in a 7-10 days we hope the craziness may drop off.
- Put Suprim online but at like £3000 and then offer a voucher code to bring it to a fair price, which will be posted on forums, however I cannot make voucher codes, so would be an IT requiest, if they are too busy then its not possible.
- Put Suprim cards live once stock is built upto 100+ and drop a heads up on the forum and hope you guys manage to get one.

We are quite limited in what we can actually do, due to software/backend limitations or relying on other departments to implement changes.

The last option is possible but we shall aim for option 1 first, then fall back to option 2 if 1 is not possible.

However as of right now we won't be listing any 3080's of any brand until closer to Christmas, we need to try and build stock up and then see if we can implement option 1 or 2 above.
Those asking about 3070's yes stock levels are building up, again closer to Christmas we will put them live and only mention doing so on forums.
3060Ti we have a lot of stock built up and all being well we will put live sometime next week, again with a forums heads up only.

On AMD front, we will again put some stock live before Christmas, but numbers are tiny, those interested in 6900XT we have only around 160 cards which we may put some live end of next week, again with only a forums heads up.

We are trying to do the best with the tools we have to hand, but at the end of the day the supply is woeful.

I cringe when a distributor says we have 10pc for you, I am like I need 10,000 to meet demand for just a day. Supply needs a massive miracle, to get on top of things.

Speaking as someone in the MSI gaming X queue and unlikely to get one this year, i'd prefer the first option. Even better if you offer the SUPRIM cards to folks in the order they are queued.

I'm one space behind you (14 to 15). Customer service claims that it was probably an RMA due to a faulty card. Lets just hope there haven't been any more to push us out of this week's upcoming 20 units.

Evening all,
Looking for any updates regarding STRIX OC 3080....I've seen many questions but most are unanswered? Being 67th in the queue, I need to know if its worth wasting my time sitting, twiddling my thumbs... I've lost TWO game codes already... watch dogs AND valhalla... because of this dire supply issue. -.-

Unfortunately this is the major question, but as you've said, anyone in any sort of position to be able to answer, seems to be ignoring anything Strix related. Looks like a competitor has some due in next week, but nothing about anything here.

Offering people Suprim's I think would be the best option personally, and seems to be what other company's are doing. Seems to be going down pretty well. I wouldn't mind this myself, currently in the queue for a Gaming X Trio.

The question is , why do they seem to be ignoring it? I know the obvious answer is just the "lack of units"... or a "component shortage". But I would actually like to know why there has been no stock, instead of just guessing?

So with 20+ eagles coming in this week that should put me around 80 in the queue from 240 back in September... still another month or so then I guess. I ordered within the first hour of release and it’s going to take what, 4? Possibly even 5 months for some people’s cards to arrive.

big fat f for 2020 let’s hope 2021 is better.

Nice to see some Suprims landing.... its what I would have gone for, reminds me of my old 1070 Quicksilver but twice as big. Hope they will offer them up to you guys still waiting :)

So the majority of 3080 cards will be coming post Christmas, prob more like 1st or 2nd quarter of 2021... Waiting so long after ordering on day of release really does take the biscuit and losing out on Watchdogs too...should give us a rebate.

Actually hadn't read up much about the suprim, didn't realise it's even bigger than the gaming x. Biggest card there is apparently. It wouldn't fit in my case if I was offered one haha. Seen photos on Reddit of the gaming x just fitting in my case.
