How does it take 3-5 days to book 39 cards in

I can understand it may take 2 days or so to book in 230 (MSI) cards...

Zotac have been poor :(

You and I ordered roughly at the same time, but I'm in position 42 for the same card. Agreed, it's a bit mental and I feel like rather than ordering from the wrong store I simply ordered from the wrong AIB.

Yeah, I went with ASUS and the Strix model because my previous experience of both is that they produce high quality and high performance kit. I also thought the higher price point might put more people off in regards to price to performance. Whilst, the performance and quality seem good apart from multiple reported issues coil whine (which maybe the issue with the Strix cards but that's pure speculation) they a lot closer to TUF for much more cost in terms of price. As you said probably should have went with another AIB at this point.

Personal opinion. As there are lots of people waiting for MSI cards, i think the minimum the OCUK could be is offering SUPRIM cards for those waiting for MSI cards. IT is being 3 months already and we still waiting.

I know, it is not OCUK problem, it is manufacturer, but OCUK could be doing it to help PEOPLE
Thats what one of the competitors is doing, just read the update they are close to completing a good amout of back orders. getting deliverys Weekley. Any extra stock will not go to the store, they will be offered to others as an alternative to other ppl waiting.
Now that is customer service.

SUPRIM cards should be offered to other MSI queues i.e. Trios in order of the queue, at the price they paid. No more. Nvidia caused the supply problem but OCUK exaccerbated this by allowing so many preorders as Gibbo mentioned this was a mistake. OCUK should take the responsibility of any losses incurred from their mistake. Not the customers.

Another update from Asus:

Next week we should see:
TUF OC 3090 - Very small amount
TUF OC 3080 - Large amount, around 100 if all goes ok
TUF OC 3070 - Large amount
Dual OC 3070 - Large amount
Dual 3070 - Small amount

Shipment plan from Zotac:

3070 Twin Edge OC - 40pc due with us by 20th December
Zotac 3080 AMP HOLO - 5pc due around 15th December, 15pc due around 29th December
Zotac 3090 - In stock and around 50 more incoming
Zotac 3060Ti OC - 40 due by end of December.

All board partners are telling me that they are receiving very little 3080 GPU at present from NVIDIA. :(

Would it be possible to get some news regarding EVGA please? Is the distributor just not getting anything at all? Did the last batch a few weeks ago actually arrive and get shipped out?

Same card, ordered 24 mins after launch, currently sat at 8th and havent budged in 3 weeks, started at 40th!
That's mental. Being so close and yet so far would have me tilted. I live in EIRE so I'm hoping I don't get hit with additional levies post no-deal Brexit. I told my friends and girlfriend, who all bought Cyberpunk 2077, that I refuse to turn it on until I get my card. Finally have my leave confirmed for a week at the end of this month, and then moving shortly afterwards, so I'm hoping I get it.

Rather than not buy from OCUK in the future I think I'll just stay away from ASUS in the future, as it's not just this retailer that can't get their hands on this card. I feel if we were in the same position for EVGA or even MSI we would be flying high.

Chances of me receiving a ventus 2x 3070 by christmas day?

Depends on your queue position, we have around 300 back orders and so far on had 70 from MSI, so if you beyond position 10 I'd say very unlikely. Better to cancel and re-order something else I would advice:

Asus TUF OC 3070
Aorus Master 3070
MSI Ventus 3x 3070
MSI Gaming X 3070
MSI Suprim 3070
Zotac Twin Edge OC 3070

All the above will be made available to order next week as shall be in free stock, the MSI Ventus 2X is very much over sold and incoming supply looks minimal.

Long time lurker, but first time poster here. I was position 9 in the queue as of the most recent update, but received packing notification of the Inno 3080 x3 yesterday. This is now out for delivery, expected today between 14:00 - 15:00.

I hope that someone out there finds this information of use, and that it goes to show that being patient and not giving in to scalpers goes a long way. It was nice reading all of the comments here, but @Gibbo has some answering to do.

Good luck all, hope your cards get to you in time for Christmas and that you all have fun with cyberpunk!

0 mention of any Strix either -.-

I believe though Asus did not confirm that they have a component shortage specific to Strix which could explain why that SKU is so rare. Asus did tell they do expect a good volume ramp up on Strix towards end of December which would no doubt mean shipping wise sometime around mid/end January. Again my gut feeling, not actual confirmation from Asus.

Inno3D shipped us 10 units, a long time ago which I did post, but they never materialized and there was a general confusion what happened to them, in short Inno3D never shipped them, as if I remember correctly they shipped 3090's instead, they re-located the stock and those Inno3D cards were indeed shipped to us and arrived on the 8th yesterday along with some 3080 X2 which also shipped. I've been off last few days as moving house and these slipped past my radar. So consider it a nice surprise.

i understand that all of us who are avidly following this thread are all in the same boat but at least there are small amounts of your cards showing up ?. think about us that have ordered EVGA cards!, non arriving and as far as we know non on the horizon plus reading between the lines for all of us no chance of receiving your cards before xmas ( think it will be near Easter myself).
