Ryzen 7 3700x or Ryzen 7 3800x

Looking to purchase one or the other to fit to my MSI B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard.

Ryzen 7 3700x

Ryzen 7 3800x

Any advantage on paying the extra £12 for the 3800x

(Assuming stock) For £12 I think I'd go for it, unless you're running in a heat/power limited setup. Remove the competitor stuff from your post though.

Not much in it really. If you're going to use the bundled cooler, put the difference towards a better cooler.
