I would paint it. If you have a problem with the warranty then you can always buy some paint remover. Then you could always paint it white or whatever colour your case is!

Cover it in sticky-back plastic, then it can be returned to its original state by peeling it off again.

This. Bought some black spray paint intended for car repairs, from the rainforest. Much better than famous brans, only set me back a fiver, no dripping, no peeling. Redone the whole Phanteks Enthoo Primo, a year before selling it, and still 100%.
