What TV shows are you currently watching

Seen both. Loved OA. Struggled to get into Maniac, seemed a bit too disjointed.

Gone a completely different direction and am now watching cobra Kai. Cheesy easy watching. Switch brain off to enjoy.
Yeah love Cobra Kai.

I always recommend Halt And Catch Fire for great drama. It's free with Amazon Prime. 4 seasons. Not brain off but compelling or at least I thought so. Only show I have consistently rewatched that isn't a comedy

The first season is extremely good viewing.

Just finished watching Season Two. Really enjoyed it, even though some parts were a bit over the top (A lot of the Fight/Shooting scenes were a bit unrealistic). Hope they decide to make a 3rd Season in the future, as the ending left it open for that.

A few episodes into S2 - gutted that Kreese is back :( I was really hoping that Johnny would become our good guy - especially as we have learned what he went through with his step dad and Kreese - but Kreese is back fuelling that darkness :(

Korean zombie Kingdom - burning through this, 3 episodes left of S2.

Started off with bad acting, but if you stick with it it really gets much better. Something happening in every episode, unlike TWD these days.

I found S2 a bit of a drag, not a very engaging story and yes ofc, fight scenes over the top, sure Frank has some wolverine DNA. That said though, you really 'feel' the scenes, great choreography and impact.

It's dead in the water though, Disney have canned it, very unlikely it's going to come back, door is closed on all of the Netflix produced Marvel shows.

+1 for HACF. It's a brilliant series.

Add me to that + as well, it one of those series that went under the radar for me so managed to binge a few seasons in a short time, easily one of the better shows of late with plenty of nostalgia of an era long gone, quite short episodes making it very easy to pickup. it tailored off in the last season, though i think it closed the story pretty well!

I might start re-watching it now im its crossed my mind again :D

I've watched it twice already and will be watching it again soon. That's incredibly rare for me as I usually can't watch anything a second time without getting bored. I think the only other series I've done that with is Breaking Bad. What I love about HACF is that it is set in the time I grew up with computers (same for many of us of course). While it's very much a fictional series it follows the general shift of technology which I remember with a lot of fondness.

Yes there were some dull spots as any series has. But the writers knew the last season was going to be the last so they had a chance to wrap everything up at the end. I thought they did a great job there.

The character development over the series is fantastic too. I started off disliking Joe but by the end of the final episode he's fantastic.

"Computers aren't the thing. They are the thing that gets us to the thing."
"Tomorrow, we start building tomorrow."

Halt & Catch Fire was great until around season 3, then I got fed up with them tying virtually every big innovation or tech development into the core characters. That said, it's brilliantly acted and a good watch, just caught myself rolling my eyes time to time.

I really should watch the final season.
