Check out the Crosshair Dark Hero as an alternative if you are spending £350+ on a board. Not sure what availability is like (Some people have it) but it looks a lot nicer imo and it drops the chipset fan.

The SSD's you have are good, but probably more expensive than other alternatives. So for example, the Adata SX8200 Pro 2TB would be a good alternative to the SN750 and the Crucial MX500 2TB instead of the 860 EVO.

The cooler is ok if you are wanting RGB.

Not sure about the monitor, but I would look at reviews on sites like Displayninja, rtings and tftcentral.

Hey all!

Thank you for your responses. I have adjusted the MOBO to the Crosshair VIII Dark. Thank you for this advice :)

I have since changed the SSD's to the SN850 due to the higher speeds. I have also changed the AIO for a NZXT Z73 for the small screen & system info that can be viewed on it as it will support my use case for the PC and looks good too.

I have also swapped out the monitor for a Samsung Odyssey G7 32" monitor for the refresh rate, response time and size of display. The ROI and price to performance are really good and I am happy to spend the money on a better monitor due to the need for the system to last 4-5 years.

Any other advice or support would be much appreciated guys :)
