First time buying here, and something is scaring me

I bought a case, the case was sitting in my orders section and once the payment cleared it was no longer there!

I have all the information in my email from "Your order has been received", I've sent out an email and still waiting on a reply. Is this normal?

Probably takes a while for the IT to catch up.

I dont think its IT, because it was in my order details and then removed when payment was recieved then again it could be since I dont know how this site works. Surely when you buy something, the order doesn't automatically get removed when they receive payment? I sent this information over the Customer service section and through email yesterday, heard nothing back.
