In a few mins you will have a chance to grab a 6800 or 3060Ti

OcUK doesn't appear to have any, but I've found a few RX580s at competitors, and there are always cards popping up in the MM on here.

Ok, so maybe "plenty" was an exaggeration, but bear in mind we're in the middle of a pandemic which has hit global production and shipping, we're between generations, meaning the old gen have stopped production and the new gen is low on stock (due to aforementioned pandemic). It's the week before christmas, and the biggest game of the decade has just come out. It's basically the perfect storm.

Lol a 580. It's not 2017 anymore

There appear to be plenty of decent 1080p cards (e.g. 1650/1660 super) around the £150-£250 mark... (basically the same as 6 months ago) they aren't going to do 4k ultra, but then my 2008 Fiesta doesn't do 0-60 in 3 seconds, doesn't mean I should be entitled to a Ferrari
Back to the cars again lmao, bad examples and will always be. There's not plenty anywhere your in cloud cuckoo land.

Why is it a bad example exactly? If you want the best then you need to pay for it, you sound extremely entitled to be honest

No, you're absolutely right, and fair enough I did a quick Google and quite a few hits came up, but looking further most of them are preorder, didn't realise it was so bad at the moment, even just a couple of weeks ago there were quite a few low-mid range cards around

It's an absolute shambles at the moment.

The 5700XT is showing itself for what it is in Cyberpunk as well, a mid range card that is 18 months old and you can't get that for under £400!

Hah, I should have held on to mine a bit longer, sold it for £320 less than 2 weeks ago. Should run pretty OK at 1080p though surely?

Please tell me how I sound entitled? What because I don't want the current scenario to get worse, I knew your rudeness would eventually come out to play and there it is. Can't get your point across so result to name calling.. sad really. Maybe because with a high end car there is no benefit over a low end car, sti legally only allowed to drive 70. Mph on a UK road. It's more of a statement. Where as a higher end GPU has an actual benefit. We can go on with this until the end of time.

1 to what 10percent of people in the UK have high end cars, how many have a 3000 or 6000 series GPU in comparison.

Would you like me to carry on or are you not bored yet;):p:o:rolleyes::)

Says the guy with the patronising comments saying I must be living under a rock in cloud cuckoo land?

Plenty of benefits to a ferrari over a 12 year old base spec hatchback, otherwise people wouldn't buy them ;)

It's fine, I'll leave you to whine bitterly on here while I play cyberpunk on my shiny new 6800 :D

Go ahead and enjoy, you might actually get some use out of it now. in the meantime il go enjoy my Ferrari:p:D;) p.s since it's so old I've gotta replace all the parts on it and they don't make them.anymore

It's a bad example because a 20 year old car will still get you to the supermarket, a 20 year old graphics card will not play current games.

I have been gaming at 1440p for 8 years, and the cost to maintain that is ever increasing. Cars don't become obsolete at their primary function as quickly as graphics cards do, as their primary function (getting you from A to B) hasn't had increased requirements over the years like games have.

Talking about bad examples lol:eek::D

20 year old card will play games in 1080p and 720p easy.

Trying to get spare parts for old motors is harder then getting yourself a new GPU :p

Don`t speak to soon the Government could change the MOT requirements so a lot of old vehicles could end up having to be scrapped.

That usually happens when the car industry aren't selling enough cars. They actually think forcing people off the road will make them go out and buy a brand new car! :p

They would have to give me a few thousand in scrap value if they wanted to achieve that. :p
