*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I'm clicking the links within <5 seconds of the ping, they're always gone!

Here's the trick I used.

Most of the stock alerts are for the same card - it seems they book some stock, it sells out, they book some more of the same stock later etc. So I added a card to my basket from a stock alert, it was out of stock by the time I got there, but next stock alert I just refreshed the basket to see if it was the card I had (it was) so just paid up.

Thanks but isn't Telegram just a service, what URL is it? I keep stumbling across US ones which aren't helping.

Thanks - I'll check out the first one; I'm already using the other, most of the time even though my work laptop is right in front of my desktop and I'm clicking the links within <5 seconds of the ping, they're always gone!

Send me a DM I can help with the telegram groups

Can they steal some tuf OC instead please... No offense to those waiting on the OC cards but it's pretty ridiculous the bias they've had. Until this incoming order comes in on the non OC, it's got to be getting on for 10X as many OC's that've been delivered so far.

Looks like they're getting such good bins on them they can flog all the silicon as the OC version. So we're stuck waiting while they hoover up all the OC back orders for max profit first.

Once they have surplus, they might just start shipping non-OCs in the same quantities, but I'm not holding my breath. The only possible upside is we'll get an OC capable card for non-OC price. ;)

Not sure it's worth a 3 month wait though...! :(

i'm so tempted to just cancel my order and buy on ebay for £600 more lol ; this is getting so silly ; i'm still 700 in the Q from 1400 .. my 1080 is barely on it's last legs .

If you're willing to go fully nuts, just buy a 3090 today as it's only(!) another £400 more & they're actually available.
"What is this 'stock' that you speak of?"

Then when the 3080 arrives, flog the 3090 for as near to retail as you can get away with and you'll only 'lose' £100 or less (hopefully). That's starting to appeal as Plan B for me, even though it's madness :p

LOL are people still waiting on day 1 orders? :p

Hell yeah: 17/9 @ 21:31 for me. I've gone from 592 to all of 322 in the TUF non-OC queue...

One of the YT channels called it and said this couldn't any more clearly be a paper launch if AIBs are STILL clearing day 1 orders...

It's not like they'd sell every single unit ordered if they could get enough silicon.

I went from 65 to 25 ...

I’ve got to say the 3070 is good and I’ve just got the FE edition (I bought it for 700 though bloody scalpers) my 1060 died and I still can’t believe I’m waiting for my 3080 rog oc 90 days later 627 in the que feels bad man, it’ll be outdated by the time I get it lol

Thank you, sounds like a good plan.

Yeah I'd read that I get that and I don't begrudge them for selling more cards that have a higher profit margin, they're a business at the end of the day. But the volumes are getting a bit absurd. Selling nearly 10X as many OC cards feels like ASUS are giving one big middle finger to all those who ordered non OC. It even feels like they've dispatched the non OC cards via Sherpa and sled dogs as a final F you...
I only hope all non OC cards are going to retailers that are taking pre orders. It's one thing selling 10X as may OC cards to shops that are just dropping them once they've built up a bit of stock, that's fine, in that situation people get what they can. So in my view all of the non OC, with them being in far smaller numbers should be going to pre orders only... I don't know if that's the case but I hope so.

Wow, wasn't expecting a 3080 drop today at all. I wonder if they shut the door too early on the 3080 last Friday and had some left over? Anyway, I missed it because today was my first day off and I was lying in my bed after a late one - that's been my luck through this whole thing. I'd be really disappointed if it wasn't for the fact my 3070fe is literally 20mins away.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens with my 3080 order. Now that I have a card I can just wait it out, but I still think plenty of day one orders still won't be complete at 6 months.
One light at the end of the tunnel is that the queue's for both the 3070 and 3090 are starting to be cleared both here and the competitor by offering upgrades to other cards. So new year will just be us 3080 people to get rid of. The problem is there are no cards coming in for us to be offered.

I don't understand how I got one. I was slow off the mark, had to do 2 captchas, then go through checkout & PayPal, entering passwords and delivery date, all on mobile, and still managed to get one.

How did all you guys know? dont say stock informer as there was nothing there (discord, and there is no telegram group at all, for some reason no one here wants to share invite link which isnt very nice).

However that channel doesnt have todays stock alert either.

Both great ideas, quoted just to reiterate what they've said lol

Hey, i asked on the discord with no reply. Are cards still being sent out even during the christmas holidays, or do we have to wait for the 4th of Jan for the return of Gibbo?

Already answered by Gibbo or Scottib in this thread. They are still open and working apart from the usual days. Its just they have additional leave in.
