Massive downtown Nashville explosion

Suicide bomber on Xmas day. You'd think the leader of the country would pick up the phone to the person who runs that city. Senators don't run cities and "most likely" means nothing. It was only through the quick work and bravery by first responders that there wasn't a death count. I don't think the man who runs the federal government giving a damn about a significant city is "liberal". Maybe that is just me.

So now you admit that it's the mayor that runs the city.

You saying different a month back. How things change.
You have a unhealthy fetish on trump.

This guy had form.

'Girlfriend warned Nashville police Anthony Warner was building bomb a year ago, report shows.'

In the aftermath, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Warner was "not on our radar" prior to the bombing. But a Metro Nashville Police Department report from August 2019 shows that local and federal authorities were aware of alleged threats he had made.

No actions appear to have been taken to stop Warner, a slender 5-foot-8, 135-pound man who died in the explosion, which injured three others.

On Aug. 21, 2019, the girlfriend told Nashville police that Warner "was building bombs in the RV trailer at his residence," the MNPD report states. Nashville police then forwarded the information to the FBI.

no alerts or past history that would indicate a threat.

Uh... what?

Because if you read the story you'll see he wasn't a terrorist and has no alerts or past history that would indicate a threat.

Apart from...........

which was passed onto the FBI by the Police. Then the FBI said they have no records of him and so didn't do anything else despite getting a report that specifically said he was specifically building bombs in his RV.

However, in the FBI's defence, even though someone at the FBI office decided that their time was better spent on other investigations rather than this particular claim (potentially from an aggrieved party), it's only with the benefit of hind-sight that their mistake is made so glaringly obvious.

And that goes against what I said how?

Right...and read the rest. They looked in to it and found no past history or any indicators he was a threat

That's not what the article says. The article simply says he had no police record. This is a long way from 'no past history or any indicators he was a threat.' They made a cursory search, found he didn't have a rap sheet, and decided that was good enough. Clearly, it wasn't.

Which is what I said.

LOL, that is not what you said. You said: 'has no alerts or past history that would indicate a threat.' But he did: the incident I've referred to. And how he's blown himself up in a van bomb that took out a bunch of buildings.

"They saw no evidence of a crime"

"the FBI reported back that they checked their holdings and found no records on Warner at all."

Then on Aug. 28, 2019, the Department of Defense reported back that "checks on Warner were all negative,"

Aaron said police at the time had no proof of wrongdoing by Warner.

"At no time was there any evidence of a crime detected and no additional action was taken," he said. "No additional information about Warner came to the department’s or the FBI’s attention after August 2019."

Aaron reported that the ATF also had no information on Warner.

Warner's only prior arrest occurred more than 40 years earlier, in January 1978, for marijuana possession.

So how many sentences is that showing that there is no past history or indicators?

And that goes against what I said how?

The past history with the GF reporting him to Police for making bombs in his RV shows he WAS a threat, but that the FBI disregarded the report because "we don't have any history on him" which, in perfect hindsight, was a massive mistake on their part and something they should be doing a very strong After Action report on.

That wasn't the past history. That was the trigger for them looking in to his history and finding nada. As you stated before though, it's very easy to not take her as a credible complainant.
