Radeon 6900 XT

About to plug it in now!

I made sure I scanned him and pinged him before I went in don't worry:D

LMAO.

Looking at the $1800 stim check that arrived today. Still not gonna pay scalpers prices on these cards, but I really want to see how the Red Devil does. I'm hoping for superior perf.

Good Luck!

3dMark? Do you mean Firestrike/Firestrike Extreme? Timespy? Could do with a bit more information. Can't see the point of running anything at 90% fan speed. The noise must be horrendous. I'm sure you wouldn't game with that. Have you tried Port Royal I'd be interested to see what AMD score on ray tracing.

Unless your someone who wears headphones to game with so external noise isn't an issue, which seems to becoming more popular due to things like Twitch/Livestreaming and as the "PC" headphones quality gets better.

What is the max freq of the card?
2600mhz

If you used timespy a lot you could tell that it's that.
But yeah it's timespy.

Also I beat that score with 50%fans and a 1080v uv and set the freq to 2550 and 2650, it sat at 2600 at 290w and I got 19984 gpu score on timespy standard

I don't understand then, if you knew why did you ask, or did i not get it?
Itsmax frequency that I saw was 2600 the max frequency slider was 2650

I meant what is the max freq the card will goto in the bios? I thought it was 2800 to 3000. I was curious if it was allowing higher than reference.

I know this is a lot to ask: If you set the board to say 2000 to 2100, what it the max power draw with your undervolt?

I don't use headphones I have a 5.1 surround system so fan noise is a major issue for me. In fact it's a deal breaker TBH. Bought the Vega 64 reference and had to under volt to keep it quiet and then bought and cancelled a Radeon 7 from overclockers after I read the review about the fan noise. Then bought a 5700XT and it was fine.

This is my first Nvidia card for about a decade so for the moment I'm leaving everything at stock. In Timespy I get a Graphics score of 19,086 and in Fire strike extreme 22,703. At full load the fans are silent and temps mid 60's so all good. Stupid price but hey ho and I really wanted a 6900XT but got sick of waiting TBH. Probably my bad but it gives me the option to move to 4K VRR in the future without making any comprises. You were one of the lucky ones so enjoy it. Try and publish some game benchmarks rather than 3Dmark as that's what we play.

I think this section was meant for someone else, I'm still rocking a GTX1070 and i7 2600k with a whole system probably worth less than a 6900XT :D

3000 is the max in the bios, although it let's me set it higher, but I won't try that until I'm under water one day

That's your personal opinion based on your your personal preferences and bias. I'm in the position that I can buy what I want at any price I think is relative to how the card meets my needs and wants. If you don't like it that's not my problem. That's why I thought your response was immature. Please don't judge me by your low standards.
no its based on reviews and articles and benchmarks and things ha ha
