*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

i was at 144 from september the 25th..I have been at 61 now for the past 2 weeks.i think most orders are cancelations. this is for a gigabyte auros 3080 xtreme

Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks for the recent updates, always nice to see what movements are like.
When I have finished upgrading orders, will take some days I shall then gives a head up on this forum (new thread) about making some GPUs available for ordering like 3070's, 3060Ti, 6800, 6800 XT and 6900 XT etc, many will be new cards whichb have never being listed also. It will be a few days yet before this happens as the priority right now is upgrading customers and clearing backlog.
Seeing as I’m 100+ in line for a card that hasn’t seen an import in ages (Ventus 2x 3070) would I be eligible for an upgrade or swap to a card in stock at some point to get a card sooner?

Don't listen to these people. They're mainlt salty because they were first to order a 3080 and now they are salty because their card is now going to be superceded by an even better model in a matter of months :)

Trust me, I'm not salty at all. If I really wanted, I could sell my 3080, make a profit and buy the ti. But that isn't the case, I have no need for the ti when my card is maxing out games.
Especially considering the price of the ti will be far bigger than the actual difference in quality of the cards. So keep your misinformed and incorrect opinions to yourself.
No salt from me at all man.

No he’s right lol, I’m a 3070 in waiting so don’t hit me with the jealous crap, they can’t make the 3080ti a big change otherwise it will supersede the 3090, it will most likely have more memory(16gb), and more rt and tensor cores, as well as maybe 500-1000 extra cuda cores

Thanks Tom. There appears to be a lot of salt and negativity in this chat from certain people.

i put an order in before the pre orders were stopped and i havent recieved any emails regarding places in queues yet, i was wondering the best way to find out more without phoning into what i presume is a very busy customer service, this post seems like the best place and direction would be much appreciated

To @Gibbo and everyone else at OCUK that has worked behind the scenes and here on this thread. Thanks for the hard work trying to track down supplies from manufacturers.

Question:
Isn't there some way you could hold ASUS's and NVIDIA's toes over a very hot fire, while poking them with a very sharp pointy red hot lawsuit poker, and explain to them that promising goods and then not delivering really isn't good business practice, and that they really owe you AND more especially their customers? We (and Im guessing you guys too) haven't had any specific details on production numbers beyond very vague Twitter promises of more and better production of ROG/Strix/OC cards that have not been matched even slightly by actions. NVIDIA and ASUS need to look carefully at their future priorities. I've already seen announcements and "leaks" for Ti cards, 30Series cards with more RAM, and discussion of 4080's, and yet they still haven't even met the initial orders on RTX 3080 ROG Strix OC's. How do they even think that's a good way of building customer support and loyalty? I know if the AMD cards had as good Ray tracing support I'd drop NVIDIA like a hot coal and switch my order immediately.
Burning is too good for 'em I say!

This is more of a half-joke but is backed by some genuine annoyance and frustration.

As someone above 1k in the Tuf non OC Queue i'm starting to feel quite hopeless about ever getting a card. Have been keeping an eye on the stock drops but due to my job im never quick enough

Sucks, but after chinese new year things will seriously ramp up, if you can pretend you didn't order for 8 weeks.... :S
