How do I cable the extra 2 pins on the 6 pin gpu connector?

My Radeon Vii had two 8 pins so it wasn't a concern.

Do i just leave it how it is?

You're going to need to expand on your question IMO, unless I'm missing something?

What model of GPU do you have? If it's the Founder's Edition then you'll be using a single 8 pin (or your 6+2) with an adapter for Nvidia's strange 12 pin connector.
