Finally got my order confirmation today (TUF 3080 OC), I think I was something like 580th in the queue back in late September.

Just wanna say sorry to all those that are still waiting, particularly those who unfortunately chose a 3080 type that weirdly doesn't even seem to be shipping at all....
Also a big shout out to Gibbo and the team at Overclockers. I know there's been a load of **** thrown around and it's not your fault.

that puts an estimate of the shipping breakdown of TUF 3080s (if the batch of 80 OC cards that went to Non-OC customers were correctly allocated) to a ratio of roughly 7:1.

What do you mean by confirmation order / Everyone who orders are being placed in a queue?
Have you not been placed in one... If so you should probably contact OC.

Bro I ordered everything for a custom water loop including an eagle block, and now I’m debating cancelling my gpu.

Imagine A risqué Chinese site shipping my water cooling parts during Covid before my 3080 coming

there was a cold drop a few hours ago, lots of giga cards including that water one with the double rad, keep n eye guys

oh and it looks like the 25% has been implemented

1049 for the extreme water card, like whaat, and the 3080 Aurous is now 950 from 799 a week ago

honestly the manufacturers have caught on, they know gamers got money to part with for the 3080s l0l

Already answered...

3080’s cannot be upgraded because there are no 3080s to upgrade too, whereas we have lots of 3070s in stock and that stock is being used to upgrade customers.

No 3080s will be getting upgraded for a very long time or if ever as the OC cards still have thousands of back orders against them.

Tbf I think @ScottiB is the man with the line to MSI, I can be patient and will be but when its absolute radio silence from day 1 in terms of Ventus and we are only moving due to cancellations its seriously becoming an annoyance now!

We both have close contact with MSI but the simple fact is that MSI aren't fully back in the office yet so we've had pretty much no response at all since over a week before xmas

I'm out, the card I am 1500 something in the queue for has been discontinued, even if its not official (TUF non-OC). Even if ocuk transfer me to the OC queue I'll still be looking at next Christmas before receiving my card, and by then the Super / Ti variants will be out. Later all, its been fun!

If you chat with them tell them to pull their fingers out of their backsides and start responding to their customers. Also it doesn't exactly look great when they're launching new 3080 card variants but can't meet supply of orders from the first hours of launch of the existing cards.

For some reason I was expecting something to go wrong such as the new card dead or something but appears all good so far. It's been so long waiting that I was almost starting to believe it would'nt happen.



No Haribo though so I may be returning the card.

An update has been requested but just as with MSI a response from ASUS / MSI can take days or longer they are just not that quick to respond but in their defence I suspect they are getting 1000+ of these kind of questions daily from all the accounts around the world chasing stock.

I for one hope that new products are not on the way as the priority has to be clearing backlog before new products.

This is embarrassing for Gigabyte. 137 in the 3080 gaming oc queue and I bet it’ll be an March delivery. Can’t believe how small the deliveries are 4 months on.

Exactly. Between board partners and manufacturers, they absolutely dropped the ball on this. From what I understand, manufacturers aren’t increasing capacity for building cards despite the insane demand.

From other posts from Gibbo and ScottiB, it sounds like OCUK are struggling to even get allocated cards from board partners and (reading between the lines) it sounds like other retailers are getting prioritised. Sucks, as I’m 189 in the Eagle OC queue (down from 450 on launch day).
