*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Thanks for the updates both! We know your trying your best and it's a Nightmare for everyone involved. Good news that they haven't discontinued the non OC cards, however I find it unlikely they'll ship any or very little now :(

oooh, so preorder customers have to make up another 25% or up to?

coz if Asus states the price for Tuf/Strix is this +25% example and and OC will lose to much if they honor past pre-order prices then pre-order customers will be met with the price hike.

That isn't what Gibbo said, but if there is a 25% increase that feels like something that would be kicked upstairs to the management for a decision on how to proceed...

Got the shipping notification for my ASUS 3080 TUF OC. Thanks to OC and Gibbo for their efforts, and good luck to those that are still waiting!

i don't think there's any way another penny can be gouged from early TUF customers still sitting in a queue from the first hours of launch, while OC customers have been getting their supply for weeks now. we should be getting compensated if anything.

it would be the final irredemable act of this whole ugly saga.

I mean whilst I dont work for OC or anything like that, this isn't really their fault xD Just a list of unfortunate circumstances haha

Asus have now confirmed to me that NONE OC cards are NOT discontinued and should be shipping some soon, they did say the price is going up though, I am awaiting to see my new cost as it best not be going up 25% as we can't afford to lose 25%, I have communicated to them we are still shipping hour one customers from launch day so they need to be mindful of this as its not our fault for selling so many within the first minutes of product launching.

@Gibbo Primaraily @ the Asus rep

First post here, I'm not normally one to moan or complain (famous last words of a whiner :P). I see OcUK's predicament with stock I really do, I understand there is a shortage and you guys have been so open regarding stock I've had faith it will get sorted when it gets sorted.

ASUS however is going to lose customers, if they force up the costs of the video cards, specifically for those day 1 customers who have waited patiently and are brand loyalists... I think people will start voting with their feet.

I understand that it's not good for you guys either, it sounds like you're willing to compromise if prices do change, but under no circumstances can it cost OcUK money, that's not fair either. But it will undoubtedly cost you customers.

I really hope they've done their projections, and can accommodate situations like the one OcUK is in.

They just shipped us 3pc of the 3080 Eagle NONE OC, we do not sell this product online however as we use it for SI customers only. So they are shipping none OC cards, just small amounts like the rest of the product range.

^This.

OC would be in a very difficult position. Gibbo has mentioned previously merchant charges to accept payment and merchant charges to refund. Add in a 25% price rise.......

Ultimately I think Asus will see sense and compromise, otherwise the PR hit would huge.

As someone who is still 1200+ in the queue for a an ASUS TUF non-OC but who isn't very price sensitive (but doesn't want to pay ebay scalpers), will I actually get a card sooner if I just get in the OcUK queue today for one of the OC cards?

Which ones have been moving through fastest?

Omfg ...4 months wait finally shipped yesterday to Ireland was so excited and dpd sent it back to overclockers because brexit! I might cry @Gibbo I filled out the form to have it resent once you get it back ,any idea how long I might be waiting ? :(

To be honest, if Asus don't compromise, and were to pass on a 25% price rise to OCUK - I can only see OCUK cutting their losses on the merchant charges and cancelling/refunding the orders that are outstanding if not for everyone, than at the very least some of the later orders. No retailer would be able to absorb those kinds of increases.

You can't - the pre-order queues are closed currently as there are backlogs on almost all SKU's - its either wait for the card you have ordered or go elsewhere at this point.

Non OC have barely moved, OC version is getting heavily prioritised
